Bro, I’m so happy that I got to find this channel (back when it was called Stay Metal Ray) and see it grow so much. But more importantly, I’ve learned so much from you and yourself too. Your use of the whammy bar and pinch harmonics are so good, in some way it reminds me of my favorite guitar player Alexi Laiho. And this riff? This riff is fire man, I saved it on both Instagram and YT when I saw the clips. Thank you so much for making this video! 🤘

Brother Xander, the best riffs are sometimes the ones created on a whim. And not pitch-matching with the whammy release on the left and right channels just makes it sound real and organic. Rock on!🤘🏼

If you want to perfectly double a weird guitar track next time I suggest splitting your guitar signal between 2 amps. Using a splitter cable your guitar signal will be 2 independent signals, and because all amplifiers interpret the signal differently it will actually sound like 2 guitars 😀 Rock on man, I wish you more success with your music!

Love me some experimental metal! As a novice, I get the whole "tone" chase, but dang... this opens my mind to the future of real creation as we all want to be inspired by something new and awesome! SUBSCRIBED! Tom Morello (and all the other innovative rock and metal guitarists), eat your heart out as there is still some bad to the bones creators of metal out there!

Yup. I totally remember it. So sick. What scale length is your baritone? I remember the Gretch you had. What ever happened to that? I think it was a 28.75” or something.

The views have nothing to do with it being a good riff, its more the clickbait title. Not saying its not a good riff. It is, but the views come from the title "this riff is crazy"

Let me guess: Since the success of that one short, your longer videos are kind of tanking, aren't they? If so, you wouldn't be the first one this happens to.
@xanderraymondcharles4 күн бұрын
Actually it’s the complete opposite. The shorts are bringing more traction to my channel
@dan_kay4 күн бұрын
@@xanderraymondcharles Interesting. I just watched a video of a creator who had a viral short that almost killed her channel. Views on long content down to 200 - from 75 to 80 k average. She got new subs due to the short, but her long-form content was just not pushed out there anymore. I'm, glad it works out for you - and I wish I had a guitar with a whammy bar to try your riff :)
