Late to this one, but on LA and SOAD they have 2 song with specifically taking shots at Hollywood, back to back in Mezmerize album. It's "Old School Hollywood" then "Lost in Hollywood"

Yes! Loving your journey. Saw your recent Metallica vid also, I'm loving the bands you're choosing to explore. You can't really go wrong with any SOAD song every fan has their favs but I'd suggest checking out the video for Sugar. BTW I live in LA and no offense taken. SOAD also lives here as do most in the entertainment industry. They call LA the entertainment capital of the world which is why so many migrate here with big dreams of becoming a star. Many expect Hollywood to be all glitz and glamour more like Beverly Hills. The sad reality is most will end up working menial day jobs slowly replacing the dream with illusion and discover Hollywood to be much darker than the stylized fantasy they had imagined. To me this is more of the "toxicity" of which they refer. As far as all of the other stuff, well I like to say that LA just simply has more of everything. The ugly, the savage, the brutal but also the magical, the beautiful, the invigorating. The best of the best and the worst of the worst, it's all true. You just have to know what it is you're looking for and where to find it. Keep up the great reactions!!

I visited LA (not for Hollywood) back in 2005, and it's one of my favourite cities i've ever been to and I have seen a few. Loved every minute of our stay. 😉

Not EVERYONE hates LA. Social media has alot to do with your thought process. There are more “normal” hard-working good people than the “fakes” you mentioned. As a matter of fact, this band loves L.A. I hear nothing but negative things about Detroit. Oh yeah, I forgot - Motown (1960’s) was there. Hmmmm.
