When he called and told Nancy he couldn't help her study and then hung up and walked over to his little train set, and plopped his ass down and started playing with his trains, I busted out laughing. Holy fajitas, Nancy magnetically attracts sociopathic loser after loser! Those Lawrence kids were waaay too sheltered and pampered by their parents to be able to function in reality. Also, that Ben guy's face reminds me of a serial killer's.

Coffee made in a percolator. Tasted great, in large part because it got hot enough during the percolating process. That's the problem with today's methods like drip and pour-over, coffee never gets hot enough. When was the last time you had to wait for your coffee to cool down before drinking it?

Nancy makes herself wide open for this neighbor immediately! Then he is so needy, self centered and an opportunist. He wants everything Nancy has, including her time, reassurance and sex...He's supposedly an attorney- why couldn't he stop by Williams-Sonoma and a hardware store for some kitchen tools and appliances? Now his wife comes over and needs to borrow a piece of paper from Nancy...and then SHE opens up to Nancy and becomes quite condescending, defensive and and then tries to be her BFF giving her the lowdown about the creep. Nancy is way to busy and involved for someone who is about to take the BAR exam tomorrow...This episode is so off the chain, but entertaining because its so ridiculous

This show is so funny, in an archaic way. Both Doug and Kate's characters act like being fit or exercising once in awhile is a foreign concept. Good grief, Doug "...I'm surprised you're still on your feet. Your apartment is three miles from here". I guess that makes sense if one's only exercise is walking to the mailbox, car or walking around a grocery store.

Now, let me get this straight. Nancy is trying to cram for her bar exam, but the pervy neighbor barges in with steaks, which she says no to, but now she’s going to cook the damn steaks for them both. 🥹😬 Ugh.

Nobody says, "I'm a lawyer." They say, "I'm a defense attorney" or "I'm an assistant prosecutor" or "I'm a divorce lawyer, trial lawyer, personal injury lawyer" etc.

Studying was not what he had on his mind. It was something else that having a partner helps a lot with.

What gets me on tv shows is how they don't ever actually fill the cups. Doug just pours in an ounce or two. A lot of time on tv and movies you can tell the person who is supposed to be drinking a cup of coffee is really holding an empty cup...not sure why the directors don't notice that. @@MeMe-mt6xv

Why couldn't she study without him? She was going to take the bar before she met him. It's kinda stupid.

Nancy was the one I could not stand when I watched it years ago. We were the same age but she was a permanent irresponsible teenager. I was a married parent of one and then two, with a job. No built in baby sitters, no law career, no long blonde hair!
