Marvellous Sonata for Piano, absolutely at the level of the greatest ones of the first Romanticism: incorporates stylistic elements from Chopin, Liszt, and also Brahms and Schumann, reaching a personal language, strong and fierce, full of passion and grandeur, especially in the magnificent last movement. These two sonatas are both wonderful works as to be expected from . Scharwenka. Seta Tanyel is a truly astonishing pianist, displaying virtuoso musical technique. Her personality shows through in every bar she plays.
