After he builds up the boxes the cameraman looks away at the box on the ground in order to hide the part when Xavier attaches a metal exosuit kind of thing (can't describe it better) to the wall. This is the reason why after he stands on the boxes you never get a shot from behind or in front of the person.

Obviously he didnt need that last box and the camera man would know that given the fact hes already standing on the boxes. They shouldve found another better excuse to turn to camera away.
