It's because Julie Plec loved Delena and she knew if Klaroline were to actually be together that they would over shadow her precious Delena. - I loved Stelena and Delena but I really wished Klaroline could have been together aswell. For me personally I do love Stelena more than Delena because Stelena makes more sense they had a real relationship with trust, have similar goals, both selfless when it comes to each other with their friends and family, understanding, communication, he respected her choices and never tired controlling her, she helped and believed in him in his darkest times, she never wanted to be a vamp she always wanted a normal life having a career and having a family. Stefan was the same he didn't want to be one originally Katherine had to compelled him to drink her blood and then after he died he wasn't gonna go through his transition until he accidentally hurt his father and the blood was overwhelming him. He hated his vampire side and for the most part wanted a normal life as well. With Delena to me it was more about sexual attraction, constantly fighting, her having to bend her morals constantly when together to defend him for his actions, he made his whole world revolved around Elena where if she wasn't around he goes off the rails. I liked their friendship more than them being a couple. If Rose never died I would have loved watching her and Damons relationship grow. - I only like Stefan and Caroline as best friends like how him and Lexi were but not as a couple. Caroline loves who she is as a vampire and is good at it where again like I said before Stefan doesn't he's similar to Rebekah in that sense they both have a desire of wanting to be human and want kids everything that comes with living a human life. I liked Bonnie with Jeremy and Enzo and it would have been interesting to see how Bamon would have been if they took it further with their relationship.

Great video! I never shipped them during TVD, but I did recognize that Klaroline definitely had romantic chemistry (something I just didn't ever see with Steroline). Klaus always loved her, and she had feelings for him, but he was so evil, she wouldn't let herself get involved with him. But he's had so much character growth in the years since, and she's changed too, so maybe they'll be endgame in TO.

Don't count on a happy ending for Klaroline. There was only one couple that JP ever cared about, and we saw how awful that played out in the TVD finale. She definitely didn't care about Bonnie and Enzo, who had a great relationship. She didn't care about Haley and Elijah, who also had a great relationship.

Yes I agree.. I actually enjoyed Steroline as friends but this forced lovestory just doesn't do it for me. I'd be really sad to see her end up with Stefan not only because I'd obviously prefer her with Klaus but also because I just don't feel like Stefan truly appreciates her. For example when he had to run away from that random huntress woman he straight up fell in love with Valerie and was in a relationship with her while Caroline was so desperately waiting for him.. What's up with that?? And although Klaus did horrible things too (sometimes worse, especially character wise) his love for Caroline was always the one thing that was contant and what made him change and want to be a better man... Sorry for this rant.. but the Valerie thing still bugs me.. xD
