Awesome video, Kyle! Where you were 5 years ago is exactly where im at right now with my job situation. Im a guitarist of 26 years, and I've been at it a while. Ive been wanting to start a guitar/gear/humor channel and admit I've been a little hesitant but this really makes me want to try more with it. Hearing how things have transpired for you from that point to now is one of the most inspiring things ever. It gives me a sense of hope in how things can get so much better when you think you're at your lowest. Love your vids, man! Much respect and support!

Hey man. As a pretty weird guy myself who feels like he's failing at life, this video lifted my spirits. I am not in your area, so can't support you in person, but please think about online stuff people can buy from you such as Kemper packs, coaching services, etc. I would totally be in on that if it were offered. Hope you have an enjoyable vacation.

For me personally, I was never into guitar amps prior to watching your videos (I was 100% a modeler guy), however your passion and knowledge for amps inspired me to buy my first real guitar amp this year, and I'm currently planning on buying my second. I love all of your videos, mostly due to the fact that you're charismatic and entertaining, however I do prefer the "sleeper" amp reviews as those are the ones I can actually afford. With that said, I'll watch whatever you put out!

THIS REPLY WAS (PROBABLY) DELETED BY KYLE TWO TIMES. Mentioning sources of income is not an argument. We all know that, and that applies to all channels, no matter how big or not. With just 40,100+ subscribers, it's important to be realistic about the income potential. In the USA, more is not needed to cover living costs. The cost of health care, mortgage (if you have one), energy, food, buying new products, etc., cannot be covered. I am sure that you are aware of inflation. Let's take one of those videos: "The new 6505 1992 Original is Finally HERE | Did Peavey get it right?" In one year, it only has 36.000+ views. For a brand like Peavey and a new product of theirs, anyone would expect at least 150.000+ views (it's one of the most famous amps, after all) You also speak about your 'career' on KZbin. This is not a job, and there is no career. If you are already wealthy (which I hope you do and I find it positive) and don't need a real job like most people, that's okay. But the idea that with only 40.1000+ subscribers and few views, you are making an actual living-no one believes that. Finally (and most importantly), what I say can be proven because you deleted my last reply two times :)

Man, it was pretty much the same for me when I started Metal Devastation PR while working full-time at the factory. Every waking hour went into it. I didn't get fired, but I could see changes on the horizon after the pandemic. It reached a point where what I was doing with my own company took up so much time that I couldn't see the point in going in anymore. So, after ten years at the same company, I put in my notice and left. Now, I've been doing PR full-time for several years. The moment I decided to go full-time was scary, but it's been growing ever since. We're gearing up to put on our third festival, where I get to meet many of the bands I work with and connect with people in the industry I've grown to know and become friends with. It's an amazing experience, man. What you're doing is real! Keep grinding and keep doing it!

See, I'm definitely one of those people who is on the struggle bus for starting a KZbin channel for guitar stuff. I actually have the channel. It exists. But I've posted, I think, three videos on it. And that was almost two years ago. But I haven't done anything with it because I'm not very good at playing, for one. So my mind automatically goes to, "Who's going to want to subscribe to a channel and watch some dude be on the struggle bus who's still learning how to play?" Whether it be trying to learn a new song or a new scale, or maybe doing some speed-building exercises or sweep-picking exercises or playing some licks, it just doesn't sound like very entertaining content, so I've just been on the struggle bus with it for probably three years. So this video definitely helped somewhat motivate me a bit more.
