its pretty easy to make one if u think about it you can just get any small monitor take off its legs and get a brief case and put holes in it for air ventilation and wires, connect the hdmi,make hole for both power cables and voila a portable x box 360 with no technical support needed :D (and another thing is that if you dont glue or stick it in you can put any console in it and it will work)

It's a great idea and you did a very nice job with the prototype. You need to ditch the light from the system board and I don't know if you have enough shock absorbing materials built into the case to handle the abuse that it would surely take if every sold as a packaged product.

I´m going to exchange the mainboard because there were problems because of the paint. The fan rotates at irregular intervals up. There will be a update video soon.

Now... if ONLY it would work WITHOUT the need to have it plugged in.. sure the definition of Portable states it doesn't have to be battery powered... but what's the point of making it portable IF it still has to stay in one place to use it...

Maybe today you could make it Battery Powered, the 360 takes 12V AFAIK, so you just need a 12V-Powered Display like Asus MB16AC but sadly it doesn't have HDMI input or you have to find an old Laptop screen and add the controller: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nWmaf5yKqMeKi8k But IMHO a Battery Pack wouldn't last very long, Original Xbox 360 PSUs are with 135W and higher I guess with full load it will need around 100W, the Hardware simply wasn't designed for portable Battery-powered scenarios, so with a 100 Wh Battery you can Play maximum 1 Hour, same with most Gaming Laptops, Idle Battery Life: no problem, multiple Hours; Gaming: only a few last longer than 90 minutes.

Thanks I used "Plastic 70" spraypaint which is a special insulation spraypaint and normal spraypaint. I also covered the smaller electronic parts on the motherboard with a black marker. Check out the pictures in the description.
