My big problem with Troy Baker's Indiana Jones impression is that he only seems to have the one mode of "suave breathy youthful Indiana Jones" voice even during his comedic quips, when Harrison Ford's range was much more gruff and acerbic even in the very early films. It never leaves 'impression' territory, and it's kinda lame

@@ataridc This is just the end of the Worldsoul saga for which the seeds were planted at the end of the Legion expansion in early 2018. There'll definitely be more WoW expansions. I was watching a GDC talk the Warcraft general manager gave, and apparently the current expansion, Dragonflight, has seen a much smaller subscriber drop-off than normal between launch and the expansion's final content update, which HOPEFULLY bodes well for the game's health.

Dragon Age is legit shocking. Like what on gods green earth are they thinking? It could still end up being a good game, but man…..Dragon Age got popular and half of it was the adult tone and all that. It’s like if they made the next Hellblade and she had a wacky chipmunk sidekick on her shoulder the entire game

A great presentation on the whole, but as a Bioware fan since like Baldur's Gate 1 I am profoundly saddened to be reminded of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands from that Dragon Age trailer. You figure anything in development that long has got to have been rebooted to hell and back and is most likely in rough shape but that looks like a game made by an entirely different studio.

I think having Black Ops 6 Campaign be actually good marries well with the gamepass day one decision. If you can get people in the door who might not play cod mp with good word of mouth for single player, you can get some of those to enter the mp ecosystem

the new Flight Sim looks like a capital VG Video Game, which is a nice contrast to the one from 2020 which felt like a tech demo for their crazy Microsoft Azure earth mapping stuff. Don't get me wrong, I played a lot of it, but it was pretty bare-bones.

Flight Sim 2020 was a foundation. The core of the world and flight tech needed for a flight sim, but not a huge amount more. FS2024 is the building on top of that foundation

I have laryngitis literally same time as Jeff. Have to talk like 7 hours a day....had to take off Friday and complete vocal rest. N I w that I get a cold and instantly sound just like Jeff, it's likely vocal fold scarring...last thing I want is polyps or surgery, last time I talked through it like Jeff I was out like 10 days.....gotta just go on complete vocal rest...all other remedies are only moderate helpful, it's an inflammation of vocal cords, tea honey BS, nothing touches the cords....just need to let them rest.laryengitis should be rare with colds....if it happens most of time that usually means u pushed it too hard in the past and developed scaring.

Jeff mentioned at the end of the show how there were stories about Fable having trouble. There were similar stories around Perfect Dark. What game doesn't have a rough development, wasn't it said that God of War 2018 was rough as hell when Shu visited, then it all came together before release. I honestly think because it's Xbox and because the media love pumping out negative Xbox stories as they get the views, that's why you see these stories regarding Xbox studios and not PlayStation or Nintendo studios. You can bet your ass they both have problems during development, but it comes together before they ship the final product. But that doesn't get views. That is the Xbox tax.

Overall, it was.. a good showing from Microsoft, This could have done really well at an E3 presentation, if that show still existed. Perfect Dark does look like a bit of a target rendering of what the final game could look like. But I am interested in anything Perfect Dark. Gears of War was a nice surprise for those who were jonesing for more GOW. As soon as that trailer played, I knew they were going to sneak a cover of Mad World in there, Doom looks neat. Though I think that Medieval setting would be better suited for a new Quake game. COD Black Ops 6 is ... what I would have expected to see. To be honest. This is all around a solid showing.

As a historian, I feel the need to let Activision and Microsoft know that the Operation Desert Storm/ the first Gulf War was still during the Cold War. The Clinton years was immediately post Cold War, and the Iraq war was definitely after the Cold War. They are mixing different periods. Also that song was definitely made long after 1991.
