Xbox HUGE Success On PS!! What If Anything Does This Mean For The Consoles Future?

No argument, Xbox has found huge success in investing in publishers and putting those games on systems that traditionally they’ve always been on and reaping the rewards. My question is this; what does this mean for the singular console competing in a space with just another console?

Hopefully it will make playstation do the same since Microsoft is banking im cool with timed exclusive for like 6 months but i think games should be available on all platforms its able to run on

This move signals to me that Xbox is moving toward becoming an open platform than a console. You might not buy another Xbox console, but if you play on PC or get a handheld gaming system, you'll be buying into the Xbox as a platform.

@@WorryWartWorld it doesn’t, because they don’t want to. They’re moving away from it. The “hardware” they are planing is probably some mobile device or a third party device that plays xbox games. They’re done with Xbox, they killed it with GamePass. MS spent $80B acquiring Big Mediocre publishers to stop Phil Spencer from crying over losing for over 20 years, now they want their money back

Im sorry to say this, but the whole idea of xbox as a hardware never made sense and also never made money to begin with. Microsoft has Windows they need to ship games on Windows to make sure that OS is still relevant. One great way to do that is with games. Otherwise, MacOS can grab marketshare from them.
