MK Armageddon is not as bad as its made out to be. the opening was great. and the story mode for this aka Konquest mode was fun and the motor kombat mode was fun.

This was one of the few games that ran in 720p on the Xbox, looked really nice and clean and was such dumb dumb dumb fun.

Ermac was my best character I could do a big combo and end it with his Axe. This wasn't a bad game my friends and I had big fighting tournaments and then had some fun playing Motor Kombat.

I liked the "Dukes" design! I agree about the heaviness of it but I liked that controller compared to the S. especially the D-pad which hasn't been the same since.

I think it would be interesting if we had a Mortal Kombat game that has a plot like Injustice, where one timeline is the MKX one versus a timeline where Talon defeated Blaze, it would take advantage of the variations in MKX since characters could have a good and evil move set.

MK Armageddon was one of the rare occasions where I bought the hype for a game, only to be extremely disappointed in the game... whoever thought that create-a-Fatality was a good idea needs to be kicked in the nards.

Armageddon was great because of the roster but most of the characters shared moves and the fatalities were mediocre. Deception is the best in the deadly alliance trilogy

Sar The Bazaar kinda odd that you didn't. it was the last mortal kombat till they did the reboot on the series. it wasn't very popular due to the lack of fatalities, having a terrible campaign and not having better graphics or mechanics. most of the cast were just taken straight out of the previous games with little to no changes to their moveset and didn't really bother to update them visually.

Euuugh. MKArmageddon. This is one of those cases where shoving EVERY CHARACTER into a game doesn't turn out well. "Just put everyone in there and don't even worry about balancing!" Not only that but they gipped fatalites. I already did a huge rant back at the retrospective i recall so i won't bother here.

very true. in fact this game overall is a step back from deception. it featured no actually improvements to kombat mechanics from the previous games nor better graphics. majority of the entire cast was plucked straight from deception and deadly alliance with little to no changes. the campaign is a watered down shittier version of deceptions except it's not free roam. its a hallway game.
