I had a first gen xbox one given to me and all i had to do was buy a new battery supply although i was thinking of replacing the (compactors i think lol) but it wouldd have cost more to fix it.

when a capacitor goes bad you will usually see bulging on top or a liquid residue underneath. And always clean as much as possible IT WILL keep the system around a lot longer LOL
