Thanks for the video! I got this around the time that I got my Xbox One. When I got it I thought it was damaged through the international shipping, since my 2.5mm Turtle Beach Chat Cable wouldn't connect to it. I also thought that the little hole on the right side of the jack itself was a defect (2:05). Thanks to your video I realized that the adapter was designed for 3.5mm audio jacks and the small cable that came with it is for connecting 2.5's. You just saved me 30$ that I would've spent on another one of these :D

considering the brick on my headset is fairly close to my head i think i will enjoy the volume of it being on the controller instead of in-line like most headsets

I will be getting this adapter very soon. But what's kinda better is getting the DSS2 for the the turtle beach headset. It gives a better audio quality from the Xbox one instead pluging to the tv. And I use px21

I have a little problem here. Since I use a PC monitor with my Xbox One, that can only use HDMI and VGA (meaning I can't get sounds at all) Can I still get game sounds through the adapter? I don't seem to find a proper answer anywhere, so I thought I'd ask. This is critical info :D

I tried using this adapter with my Turlte Beach Earforce Bravo headset and the everything works, except the game audio is very poor. It has a static in the background and is over all just "weak" can anyone tell me what I can do to fix this? or what I might be doing wrong?

Ive done everything done on this video, game and chat volume is fine when i toggle with the adaptor, but i still have a static noise in the background which i can hear and as well as my friends in part, how do i get rid of it !? ps. i have the x 12s well.

I plug it in and everything works but the only problem I have is that the game volume adjustment on the wire of the headset has not purpose. All of the volume for the game and the party chat is on the chat so I either cannot hear the game or the party because the ratio of sound stays the same. Any one know how to fix this?

The chat auxiliary must be plugged into the adapter to hear chat audio and to use the mic for chat. To hear game audio, the RCA or Auxiliary cables must be plugged into the source of your TV's audio, whether that be the TV itself, or a theater system.

So I have a question I have the Slayer Skullcandy headset and it's very similar to the Turtle Beach x12 as far as I know I also have one of the newer Xbox 360s that has an HDMI port so I needed to get an adapter so my three pronged part of my headset would plug into my 360 where would that go on my xbox one because the chat would work but the other part that can be plugged in, the three pronged part wouldn't go in anywhere

if your headset uses the RCA cables (the red and white ones) then it isnt compatable with the Xbox One, headsets that use an optical out are compatable

KoreanBackdash This is for headsets designed to be used with the last generation Xbox (360). If I am understanding you correctly, you could not use the type of headset you are describing on there, so you cannot expect to use it here.

+Avery Underhill Yes, that's the point of the adaptor. Keep in mind, however, that all new Xbox One controllers have standard aux jacks on the bottom, so it might be worth investing in one of those rather than the adaptor.
