+MrZOMBIEKID Yes, if you have the new style controller (with the 3.5 mm aux on the bottom), then you just plug it in and you will get both game and chat channels. +yaboi dat Go with the 50X over the X12. Roughly the same tier of product. The 50X is just newer and improved. I would of course recommend it for games and streaming. Warning the mic breaks very easily, plus it enoying to try to find the right spot to put the mic do your friends can hear you. If that does happen blow in the mic once you hear it you will know your friends will hear you

+Ahmad Odeh Nope. There are a few reasons that people are having "issues..." 1. They actually are having issues. Every single product on the market is going to have a few lemons. Probably less than 3% of the Recon 50Xs made are defective, but the people in this 2-3% are going to be the ones talking. If this is the case, you can likely warranty the product for a new one. 2. They aren't very smart. Based on much of what I have seen here, many of the commenters claiming the 50X is "broken" seem to lack not only the most basic technical knowledge (which is pretty sad, in the current day and age), but also anything resembling common sense. If you are referring to the XBOX ONE STEREO HEADSET ADAPTER (which is in no universe referred to as the "X1 adapter"), then in the video you can see that I am using an old controller with one. I also have a whole section of the video explaining how if you have the NEW CONTROLLER (which is what this headset was made for) with the built in 3.5 mm aux, then no adapter is needed. It is initially mentioned at 1:43 and further explained at around 1:58. By the way, I would recommend taking an anger management class. Have a good one! ;)
