These recent Avowed reviewers are being specifically told not to show character creation. They are hiding this on purpose. If they have to be deceitful they need to revisit their motives. The addition of pronouns isn't a deal breaker for me. Baldurs gate 3 had the option to select non binary for a gender, but the game is still amazing. Adding one small detail isn't a huge thing for me, especially since I just won't select it. As long as the story and gameplay are good, it ultimately doesn't matter. So far from the gameplay I've seen, I am very interested in this game, I love the pillars universe l, and I am eager to play this game. I do understand that people are tired of the identity politics being forced in games, but the choice of pronouns in a game doesn't bother me if it's just a choice in character customization that I don't need to select. This topic isn't black and white in my mind.

Nothing felt forced, didn't directly pushed it, shoved it in the throat. Unlike Veilguard that gives messages about that garbage. Also Baldur's Gate 3 is an amazing game. And you were alway in control over these things.

I really don't see any problem of allowing people to customize pronouns in a literal self-insert fantasy game. It makes a lot of sense if you are building a character, no different to choosing the name. I think it is not the game but you who are pushing your politics into gaming. From game developer standpoint they see that some people like using other pronouns, so they add that in, just like they add the ability to remap keys or change diffivulty because that is what some players want. And again it makes a lot of sense in a game that is meant as self-insert. Now you are bringing your own biases in to tell people why this choice is wrong? In their singleplayer game? Lol

Video games are dead I will never buy any of this garbage unwatchable cgi animated movie propaganda disguised as a game. I feel so deeply stupid for buying PS5 waste of money. I'm going to go back to playing 1990s arcade games on emulator like I used to. Infinitely greater experiences designed by experts
