I bought the white Xbox series S 12 months ago and it’s still brilliant. Six months ago I picked up the Xbox series X mainly because it’s got a DVD drive. Not having television I watch a lot of DVDs. I’ve barely use the series. X I’m always on the series S and now with the new black model coming out I’m thinking of picking that up as well

I have a Series X but I think the power supply or power cable socket broke. I didn’t want it to be repaired by Microsoft since it’ll be awhile till it’s fixed, and it costs as much as a Series S for repairs. But my Birthday just so happens to be in one month from now. And because my dad and I share a console in the living room, I wanted to have the next gen experience in my bedroom and not have to share the nicer console, plus my dad is pretty much okay with playing Battlefield on Xbox One. So instead I was going to replace it with a Carbon Black Series S. That way it’d fit in my room like a glove, the resolution would almost match my Bedroom TV (1080p), only thing i’d lose is the disc drive, but that’s why I have the Xbox One. Most of my old games on disc or discontinued games can be played on Xbox One. I also was planning on getting a Nintendo Switch this Christmas, and the only place it could fit in my Bedroom is right in the only spot the Series X could fit in. So this way, my bedroom setup would have the Wii and Xbox Series S underneath my TV, and to the left of it would be my Switch. This way everything fits so much better. It’s also easier to take the Series S with me (which I probably won’t do, but it’d be nice to have) on trips. Also, imo the Black Series S looks really sweet.

Picked one up for 175 euro second hand. If you consider the controller is 50 euro the console only cost me 125. Like that's just rediculously cheap. Playing the old Gears of War on it atm. I have an OP gaming PC that can make use of xbox gamepass ultimate aswell for the newer graphical intense titles.

Unless you’re playing somewhere other than a console, there’s no point in getting ultimate game pass console is the way to go or game pass core game pass console gives you access to the same library as ultimate, but doesn’t charge you for features you’re not using like running it on your PC

Exactly which is why you should’ve bought the series act in the first place however, they alleviated that problem. There’s a new version of the console that has a one terabyte drive. It doesn’t come in that ugly white color. It comes in the typical black mat, color and all other things being equal it cost 50 bucks more.

With the exception, some badly program games, I play like war face. Every game I open is up and running ready to play in about three seconds hell I don’t even close overwatch two and I have to click X I believe I click X once to get rid of the you’ve lost connection screen and it takes me right to thetitle screen and I clicked that again and it takes me to the main menu in a matter of just a couple of seconds. Quick resume and multitasking is not a function or feature necessary on a video game consul.

You don’t need ultimate to play with your friends Xbox live has been included XX live gold. The equivalent of gold is an Xbox core. I mean Xbox live gold has been discontinued, but the functions features of it are included in core, so any version of game pass from core up, gives you multiplayer Ability you don’t need ultimate to play games with your friends. The only reason you need ultimate is if you want to access your game pass from PC android iOS from your TV whatever if you’re not doing any of that then buy game pass console or game pass core to be fair I would start out with game pass core Upgrade if you feel like there are games you wanna play from the game pass library I think core is up to like between 30 to 40 free games similar to PS plus games you know the game pass live gold or the Xbox live gold games they’re up to like 30 to 40 games now that you can play free with game pass core

Which by the way, came past console and PS plus extra are at the same price point I believe I don’t know what the annual ball grade is for each if they’re even is one for game pass I know there is for extra I just don’t know what it is I haven’t looked But the difference says the catalog you get access to is about five times the size on PlayStation and it’s all modern games PS4 and PS five games there’s no older games in there. Those are all relegated to streaming with gas plus premium with Xbox game pass console. The catalog is going to include all kinds of gamesand there’s a lot less of them in the end plus is a far better deal. The only thing you really lose out on is free I mean first party titles available on day one for free but you’ll get to try for free before you buy them so you can try them out and see if you like them and then watch for sale he actually almost always see a sale anyway except right when the game comes out because this plus members get anywhere from 15 to 70% Discount.

Dude, the only new games you get to play on game pass our first party titles right Microsoft owned properties when one of their studios made the game day one it’ll be on game pass console or game pass ultimate. It will not be on game pass core and those are only first titles, which, as of now is only Starfield, that’s literally the only benefit you seen from that since they made those changes and it’s available on game pass console and ultimate again you don’t need ultimate unless you wanna play your games on somewhere other than the console and you know on the consul and other places then you need ultimate if you’re only gonna play them on the console, you need game pass console which is like $11 a month

Don't buy the Series S over a PC. I sold my Series S after I got my PC because it blew the Series S out of the water. My PC isn't even super high-end, but the Series S can't even compare as far as visuals and performance go. My PC specs are Ryzen 5 3600X, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 250GB NVME SSD, 1TB SATA 3 SSD, and an overclocked GTX 1660ti. Edit: I bought my PC on sale from a big box store for $500 and spent another $100 to double the RAM and add an SSD.

It's not what everyone wants to hear but, former Xbox Executive and what of the original fathers of Xbox (the primary and founding father being Sheamus Blackley) Ed Fries was asked this generation whether he'd be getting an Xbox Series S or a PlayStation 5 (PS5) and he said: "Id be getting a PS5. There's no reason to get a Xbox because everything is playable on a PC. If you can afford both, great, but if you can only pick one, pick a PS5, if you have a PC, you already have an Xbox Series X." Gabe Newell of Valve (Steam) fame feels otherwise, as at least when the consoles launched, favored Xbox, but he always has, of course now his Steam platform has both Xbox and (some) PlayStation games on his platform so you figure he'd be selling his own, I don't know. At the end of the day, IF YOU REALLY WANT AN XBOX and can't do without one, a little bit more is going to give you a lot more. However, it was just mentioned that Xbox is planning on increasing the price of its hardware so both are going to cost more. Xbox's acquisition has proven to be disastrous. I don't think their return on investment was what they thought it was gonna be and they know they've put themselves in a position where it's lose/lose as they just announced mass layoffs. Microsoft and Xbox aren't helping or on your side. There's no empathy or even sympathy. Xbox has every ability to show some compassion with the money they have to drop prices and ease consumers minds making things affordable at a bit of loss with promises that when things get better, prices will return to normal when societies back on their feet, but theyre not. Xbox Game Pass price has increased, Xbox consoles are about to go up, and Xbox is about to feel a world of hurt. Job postings are in for Gears of War E-Day devs with PlayStation Network experience. If Xbox live is the superior service and justifies the premium price, why would they be asking for expert advice from PS experienced devs to tell them how to do the job, no, they're preparing to impress PlayStation fans with their BIGGEST IP. When Epics Mark Rein was about to port Gears of War to PlayStation, Xbox found out and acquired the IP knowing Gears of War is a bigger franchise than even Halo. The day Gears of War goings to competing platforms is the ultimate surrender of PlayStation and they're on their way. Xbox doesn't care about your loyalty, they never did, you're a means to an end. It wasn't always that way though. The original Xbox was about keeping PlayStation from taking over the living room. But, what's the real threat. Go check VGChartz website and see overall console sales. PS4, PS5, and then Nintendo Switch. Your backup company you lived in denial defending cut into Xboxs overall sales passing 120 million Switch units sold in a effort to outsell and dethrone the PS3, that's a lot more Switches than PS4 and PS5, maybe combined and the Switch 2 is on the way. With Xbox games available on PS5 as well, as started with Sea of Thieves and Hi-Fi Rush, Forza, Halo, and Gears of War are on the way. But, it's up to you. This console is slightly more powerful than the Xbox One X. Some would argue while the CPU is faster in the Xbox Series S, the Xbox One X has the superior GPU

In april i bought a series s and 2 months later a game laptop and i am very happy with both but now i think i prefer the series x more than the series s not that the series s is a bad console no no! But i want at least 60 FPS on a game i have a 1080p tv so should not be to hard but look at the crew motorfest so far i know that Will play on 30 FPS and thats a real bummer! And its like 250 euro's more expensive so if your a Child and need to have all the money from bday money or so the series s is super good for the price! There’s a one year subscription for 60 bucks for game pass core game pass core is Microsoft attempt to replicate PS plus essentials it offers exactly the same features and functions i.e. multiplayer gaming for free, free games every month with a free game catalog that can grow at the same price point that Sony was at just a few months ago now the price point for that equivalent in Sony went up to like 74 bucks but I just renewed mine it expired the next day I renewed it for $63 but game pass annual subscription is 60 bucks so with tax you know it’s going to be a little over $60but it does not give you access to the catalog. Do you have to buy game pass console to get that

Honestly, most people don’t have 4K TVs anyway, I think last time I checked it was like 40% of the population in the United States had upgraded so the graphics quality really doesn’t matter the real deal. Here is the performance of the machine itself will be less it has a smaller storage and if you bought it to be your primary consul you’re gonna quickly be dissatisfied with the 500 GB space you’re going to want to upgrade it and the upgrade is gonna cost you more than it would’ve costed just to buy an X in the first place, that’s why the model with the one terabyte drive for 349 has been released if you’re going to buy a series ass hold out for that model don’t buy the OG series ass by the second edition at least that you’re starting out with one terabyte storage everything else is the same oh it’s not that ugly white color that they used on the PlayStation five and the series SOG that is the ugliest stupidest choice Ever in a gaming console Sony did it on purpose. Not remotely an open world exchange land on a planet you can go a certain distance from where you landed and that’s it. No man’s sky has an open world experience elite has an open world experience. Eve has an open world experience, and that you can fly where you want, you don’t fast travel you literally fly and you better be careful about where you’re going because if you fly into an unprotected area, you will get trashed by other players. These are games that actually allow you to explore Starfield is not.

Excuse me, but the series S doesn’t have a gaming catalog Xbox has a game in catalog and you have to buy game pass access it. Siri doesn’t itself have a gaming catalog. In fact, worst part is because it’s so much different certain features, and some games may not exist on the ass Like the split screen feature takes a lot of processing power some game developers have been allowed not to incorporate that into the series version of the game unlike PlayStation five hardware which is all the same whether it’s the cheaper one or the expensive one it’s all the same hardware just minus the disk, the series S that you’re showing is minus Storage space it’s half the size 1st and foremost it’s processing power is less it’s graphical processing power is less I mean it’s all around lesser machine and it has limitations buying an Xbox to be your primary consul.
