Este capítulo comienza con Ryu Hayabusa acercándose a una base militar altamente fortificada en su búsqueda para avanzar en la historia. Desde el inicio, la atmósfera es tensa, con un paisaje industrializado lleno de vehículos militares, patrullas de soldados, y estructuras que parecen listas para la guerra.
Primera sección: Enfrentamiento contra los tanques
El primer gran obstáculo que enfrenta Ryu en este capítulo es el enfrentamiento contra dos tanques blindados. Estos tanques son enemigos formidables debido a su gran tamaño, sus poderosos cañones y su resistencia a los ataques cuerpo a cuerpo. El área en la que se desarrollan estos combates es amplia pero tiene ciertos obstáculos que Ryu puede utilizar para cubrirse temporalmente de los disparos.
Ataques de los tanques: Los tanques disparan proyectiles explosivos que cubren grandes áreas, obligando a Ryu a mantenerse en movimiento constante. También cuentan con ametralladoras que lanzan ráfagas rápidas. Los disparos del cañón principal no solo infligen mucho daño, sino que además pueden aturdir a Ryu si lo alcanzan.
Estrategia de combate: Para vencer a los tanques, Ryu debe aprovechar su arco y flechas explosivas. Estas armas a distancia permiten atacar desde una distancia segura mientras esquiva los proyectiles enemigos. En ocasiones, uno de los tanques se posiciona para intentar aplastar a Ryu, lo que requiere rápidas evasiones.
El combate se siente desafiante, con Ryu constantemente buscando cobertura entre disparos, usando su agilidad y habilidad de salto para esquivar los ataques más destructivos.
Segunda sección: El helicóptero de combate
Una vez que los tanques son destruidos, Ryu se enfrenta a un helicóptero de combate militar. Este helicóptero es extremadamente rápido y difícil de atacar, y al igual que los tanques, lanza ataques potentes que cubren grandes áreas del campo de batalla.
Ataques del helicóptero: El helicóptero dispara misiles teledirigidos, ráfagas de ametralladora desde el aire y, ocasionalmente, lanza bombas que cubren el área con fuego explosivo. Los misiles teledirigidos son los más peligrosos porque pueden seguir a Ryu durante un tiempo, lo que obliga al jugador a realizar movimientos rápidos para esquivarlos.
El enfrentamiento con el helicóptero es una prueba de resistencia y precisión, ya que cualquier descuido puede ser fatal debido al alto daño de los ataques aéreos. Finalmente, después de una serie de ataques bien coordinados y evasiones, Ryu logra derribar al helicóptero, marcando el final de esta desafiante batalla.

The battlefield is wide but contains certain obstacles Ryu can use for temporary cover from the cannon fire.
Tank attacks: The tanks fire explosive projectiles that cover large areas, forcing Ryu to stay in constant motion. They also have machine guns that fire rapid bursts. The main cannon's shots not only deal a lot of damage but can also stun Ryu if they hit.
Combat strategy: To defeat the tanks, Ryu must rely on his bow and explosive arrows. These ranged weapons allow him to attack from a safe distance while dodging the enemy projectiles. Occasionally, one of the tanks will attempt to crush Ryu by driving over him, requiring quick evasive maneuvers.
The combat feels challenging, with Ryu constantly seeking cover between shots, using his agility and jumping ability to dodge the most destructive attacks.
Second Section: The Combat Helicopter
Once the tanks are destroyed, Ryu faces a military combat helicopter. This helicopter is extremely fast and difficult to hit, and like the tanks, it unleashes powerful attacks that cover large areas of the battlefield.
Helicopter attacks: The helicopter fires guided missiles, bursts of machine gun fire from the air, and occasionally drops bombs that cover the area with explosive fire. The guided missiles are the most dangerous as they can follow Ryu for a while, forcing the player to make quick movements to dodge them.
The helicopter battle is a test of endurance and precision since any mistake can be fatal due to the high damage of the aerial attacks. Finally, after a series of well-coordinated attacks and dodges, Ryu manages to bring down the helicopter, marking the end of this challenging fight.
