One problem with the Executioner is that most users will unnecessarily spam shots onto targets, as if it were a two shot kill weapon. Try to moderate the trigger finger a bit more than usual, as you'll do wonders to conserve ammunition.

Very old comment, but it's really hard to do that. A lot of times (this was when I was forced to play with my siblings), but they would always use the tac 45. If I didn't one shot them I would almost always lose (tac has higher RPM). Come to think of it, I wish there were people to play against...

+luca recine It's because they're hard to deal with. SMGs are much more mobile than ARs and LMGs, and Shotgun can kill in just 1-shot, making them frustrating to fight against.

Snipers are like shotguns with infinite range and precision. Most people that use snipers have practiced quickscoping for a ludicrous amount of time, to the point where they are disgustingly effective with them, at any range. You can always hide behind a wall, to save yourself from a shotgun or SMG; not from a DSR 50, however. Snipers in BO2 are absolutely fucked up. The only reason people are annoyed by shotguns and SMGs is because they take less skill to use, and the manchilds that have been using their diamond-coated SCAR since two weeks after BO2 was released get butt-hurt when they are one-shot by a "noob weapon". And people complain about the KSG... fuck off! Quickscoping is not a videogame skill. You wanna talk about skill with any semblance of validity? Go play Quake. Go play Chivalry. Go play StarCraft. Go play Natural Selection. Go play Hollow Knight. Stop banning shotguns from servers.

This is why BO2 is the best future CoD game. You had a combination of the latest weapons that were produced/were going to be produced at the time of 2012 to use in the game, as well as a very small number of weapons that were fictional but weren't cartoony or too flashy to break the immersion. The SMR, the DSR, the Peacekeeper are not real weapons but damn they could be/are similar to weapons that we actually have. Compare that to BO3 or IW or AW or even BO4 where almost all the weapons are fictional and their designs are cartoony and strange that they don't give the game any shred of authenticity. I'm not asking for pure perfect realism, it just needs to feel authentic and tangible which is what CoD always managed to do before. At least now they have managed to do that with MW2019.

All the people who complain about this weapon being bad understand it completely wrong. If you plan to use Executioner as a primary, you're obviously gimping yourself; use an actual shotgun or any other pistol. But as a secondary, it's nearly the equivalent of MW2's AA12, only with a smaller mag and not automatic. That being said, it'd deserve a buff in the form of having Fast Mags by default, so that you don't need to use the wildcard just to have an attachment other than that. Also, much like the KSG which is also frowned upon, people would realize how decent this gun is on PC, since you have so much more control over your aim with a mouse than with an analog stick.

you could also switch out perk 1 greed and flak jacket for the assault shield and a smoke grenade. This can also increase your ability to survive, because the shield block bullets from the back, and you can use smoke to get closer to enemy without them seeing you, or escape a gunfight that you are going to lose.

I loved this gun. I enjoyed the fast kills, but if you're expecting it to work like a gun, don't. Instead, think of it like a long knife, were you must get close and personal, and do not let your guard down. It's most effectiveness is flanking and turning corners/entering doorways.

Tac knife has absolutely effect on a weapon's range. Just because you hold the gun further away from the character model, the range doesn't change. So, Long Barrel really is the best, and only, option for increasing effective range. I'd also give a shout-out to the laser sight, because the smaller hip-fire cross-hair makes getting one-shot kills from the hip easier.

Well,only use it on either small maps,or inside buildings.It's a secondary,and a secondary shotgun at that,so you shouldn't expect it to work well as a primary shotgun.Also,no matter what,always flank.

Depends on how you snipe... for campy, sit in the garage in Nuketown-style, KAP-40. For aggressive quickscoping, either is pretty good. But if you want powee, take dual wield KAPs, if you have them unlocked
