Here's an op tip for this gun: After firing immediately reload and cancel it by sprinting as quickly as possible. This will allow you to quickly fire again and avoid that slow pump animation.

andrew94 saj It certainly can be, but sometimes its almost too amazing. You can pull off things that will keep the game fun and exciting where other mundane "hold and wait till they die" guns don't provide the same feedback. I suggest going with a medium to low DPI, (mine is 900) you want quick aim down sights, laser sight and long barrel and keep with it until its muscle memory and reaction. Take a quick aim and shot, try to snap your shots onto them instead of holding and following and if you miss, run away and let try to lure them around corners.

Shooter Games with Ging3rman117 It's basically a mid-range sniper rifle. My highest stats with any weapon come from it, just because of that. 3k kills, 67.8(somewhere around there) accuracy, and a lot of headshots from going for fun challenges.

here's my set-up: KSG w/ laser sight, long barrel, reflex sight Executioner w/ long barrel Primary Gunfighter Lightweight Scavenger Semtex The KSG is an excellent short-mid range weapon, even if it is inconsistent. It's best used with cover. For an idea on range, I've killed enemies in the center near the gas things with one shot from the top floor of the central buildings near the spawns, and two-shot enemies emerging towards the center from the other side. Executioner kills short range enemies quite nicely but the KSG can kill short range enemies hip-fired, even if inconsistent. Just use cover with this weapon. Cover does wonders in dealing with more than one enemy as you won't win many straight-up gunfights with the KSG.

When you get the accuracy right, you can shoot people from super long ranges in 1-2 shots. Also it's one of the fastes reacting weapons in the game. I just love how it feels.

if you are switching from a smg like i did. i recomend. this class. long barrel, quick draw, and the stock. then light weight, toughness, dexterity, and extreme conditioning. this helped because i was used to the fast movement speed while ads with the smgs. i would go 2 and 15 without stock. then i get stock on and i go 20 and 0. the difference it makes for me is unreal

Hey Stu, instead of the combat axe, I would recommend a sidearm, either a B23-R or KAP-40. This will increase your effectiveness in close quarters, which is where the KSG is very vulnerable. And, without fast hands, the axe is almost obsolete. What do you think?

Flatline Gaming If you loved the MW3 KSG, that's the issue. You need to pace yourself, be patient. You will take damage, but ensuring your shot lands is very important. A great way to prepare to use the KSG is to use it on progressively difficult bots, to practice patience and timing. I didn't need it, though. You could also use the DSR with an ACOG, for a while, that's the closest you get. it's not a gun you can pick up and use easily, like the Remmy, which is literally the easiest gun to use in CoD history. Pace your shots, make sure your heavy lead butt plugs land in the right places-Mouth, anus, or dickhole.

Helpful vids mate. My freinds and I play 4 player splitscreen on my family's Xbox one. We have the settings set 17 points just for the hell of it. We almost always play hardpoint because it's really fun against hard bots. We each predetermine our roles before hand. I usually run an engineer class with the KSG and a Launcher. I carry two EMP grenades and blackhats to trigger enemy traps and hack scorestreaks. I use the launcher to take down enemy UAVs and counter UAVs and trap enemy care packages. I'm basically a COD troll and I love it!

The first time I used this (and the first time I'd ever played an FPS, actually) was at a friend's house. He challenged me to a 1v1 and brought the KSG vs. a loadout I made without ever having played an FPS before (it was bad to say the least). I got a lucky kill, stole the gun, and went on to get something like 45-50 kills in a row before he rage quit and said I wasn't allowed to use the gun because it was OP (he kept using it though).

This is a great weapon to use if you mostly play Hardcore but need something to use on Core, because it won't force you to change playstyles very much. I strongly recommend carrying a second weapon for things outside of the KSG's range, such as the Tac 45 or MSMC. Like Stu said, the Long Barrel is vital. I actually prefer Stock over Quickdraw Handle, but that's a choice that varies from one individual to the next. And he's right, Flashbangs are the ideal tactical choice for this class.
