I love my Xbox Series X console!! & I use it everyday & play both disc & digital for gaming & the backwards compatible for it is awesome! I pick up 360s games a lot & xbox one games & play them a lot. I just want more exclusives for Series X but otherwise no complaints about my disc version. I got it at launch & play it more then my PC & way more then my ps5. Hopefully we get more good games soon as that showcase from earlier this year was incredible!!! 🎮🤙

Concerning Xbox headset volume dropping really low. That would happen to me too when I had one. The only solution, but an easy one, was simply restarting the Xbox through the restart option, not just turning it off and turning it back on.

You lot have a VERY unhealthy obsession with Xbox releasing a weak and underpowered handheld. You do know you can just buy a ROG, Steam Deck, or any of the other handheld PCs and play Xbox games on there right now (well, Xbox PC games, you'll never have Xbox-only games on the device). Xbox won't be allowed to waste as much money as they have previously, MS won't let them. It's very doubtful they'll even be a console next gen, it'll probably just be a streaming device

I would looooove to see an Xbox similar to the Switch but much much more powerful. Make it a handheld (with multiple controller options) that is as good as the Series S or even the X and then, when placed in the base, it is a new amazing badass console. Have enough memory on the handheld for 2 or 3 full games and at least 2TBs on the console base. I would pay 600 bucks for that in a minute.😁

You know, regarding the reviews on DA: The Veilguard, I played the game, and I think it's really good. I might not be super pleased with the resolution on Xbox, but we've been suffering same thing with some of the newer games. I was hoping to have a 4k 60 FPS mode like in Halo Infinite but well, it is what it is. I did play all the previous Dragon Age games so, let me tell you that I understand everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but in mine, coming from a long time Dragon Age player... The game is good, I loved the attention they paid to details, on the environment, clothing, lore, etc. And the new combat system is very fun. So... I would tell you to give it a try, I think you won't be disappointed

I can't even afford a current xbox s or x and my one s died using firestick but it overheats after a match or short time it runs ok until that then lags/freezes then it's spinning in place or up to 5 seconds running/shooting or what ever else is happening, also when will we have access to the FULL GAMEPASS LIBRARY WELL STREAMING AND OWNED GAMES, would love to at least play diablo again biggest issue tho is the quick overheating on firestick have the new 4k max and fast net.

Aren't they also working on a next generation DualSense-esque controller as well? Which would be great, but they could go 1 further and bring us an XR headset as a agandalone-companion. They could go VRSense with that that's also XR ala VR/AR/MR/etc. Aside, an interesting idea could be, and I know it'd be expensive and speculated few months-years, a touchscreen on the controller for menus and sort of mixed heads-up gameplay could be moved there, built in mic. Some of this could move gaming forward better, FPS could wonders if played with more movement freedom like some in VR..... Imagine you only need minor dual paired controller movement detection to move where you're looking so you can also have a full FOV for rail targeting type shooting integrated into FPS so your gun, gear, etc isn't always center stage, and you could still operate vehicles and such with dual paired controllers. Other genres, maybe not as much use depending on game design, but could still make optimum use.....

With Microsoft’s obsession with cloud gaming and GamePass, this handheld will almost certainly be entirely cloud-based. Because there’s no way they’re going to produce an affordable handheld that can play even a fraction of current-gen games, unless people want a $700 portable. It just makes no sense for it to be a local-play device. With it being cloud-based, it can play most current-gen games and people will be able to access their GamePass library. Sucks but true

I'm kind of with you on Age of Empires. It's already kind of a niche game on Xbox. Will it really sell a lot on PlayStation? Final Fantasy is not the comparison at all, because FF is not niche. So, you port AoE to PlayStation, rake in pennies for it, and deconstruct a little more of the Xbox brand and exclusive library? Was that worth it?

If the handheld is a streaming device similar to what the PS handheld is, forget about it. A device that needs to be connected to the internet 24-7 or that needs to be close to the console to stream games over is not worth it. It would have been a different story if it had a huge storage were you could actually take your games with you, or mini discs like the PSP had, than yes.
