XC Bombers: Full Send Tony

Tio Tony ripping my legs off and keeping the heartrate up for more reasons than one. We picked a quiet Monday way back in July to do some canyon exploring and grip level testing. Of course we made it through all the dangerous parts and went down at the end!

What a trail! Epic. Interestingly, that looked way less scary than most of your road descents. Incredible to see the damage caused by all those fires. Glad the trails survived. We've just suffered three big 90mph storms here in Scotland - hundreds of thousands of trees felled, destroying so many trails.

Here in Slovakia, mountain bikers are getting more and more arrogant. They endanger tourists on hiking trails, arrogantly ride through forests outside the permitted routes and thus scare and stress forest animals. In recent years it has been discovered that by riding off the permitted trails they are spreading parasites on bicycle wheels within the mountains that are destroying the root systems of trees.
