Redoing my doll storage & moving dolls!! (My week in dolls/ doll room vlog)

Holy crap ! Your doll collection is huge, but didn't realize you keep everything that comes with them too. 😮 But, I am also trying to simplify my doll room to just dolls. I used to do more crafting, but pain hinders that alot. So, I've moved all crafting to upstairs guest room closet. I can still access, but if it's not something I use daily, it's out of my doll room. But I am always doing doll hair or changing outfits, so that stuff stays in doll room. And it's also my office for my job. That's only a corner...lol.

I adore videos like this, having a vast doll collection myself, the accessories overwhelm me so much, I have bins and bins of them and trying to keep everything straight sometimes is a big problem for me. I have things stored in baggies as well and an accessory compartment bag over my doll room door that is so full now, so it is kool to see what you do with your accessories, this was so fun.

We’re working to make it load faster and it’s gotten a lot better - I’m so glad the new bookmarking feature has helped!! I don’t use the site much on mobile but even on desktop peak times drag performance down a LOT

Binders full of page protectors, photo protectors, and card protectors are perfect for organizing doll clothes/fabric accessories like blankets, towels, and sleeping bags. You can organize them by brand and line and label the spines. Also, bead organizers are good for sorting small plastic accessories. Obviously you should do things how you want to, just some ideas that I borrowed from Toya of Myfroggystuff.

The mini verse stuff only got recalled in USA and Canada weirdly so I just used mine anyway but wore gloves and made them in a well ventilated space. They said when the resin is completely cured theres no issues

If you’re interested in joining that’s how we operate :) It’s going to take manyyyy years to even make a dent in the goal of listing every doll, let alone having good photos and info for all of them! It’s just something that takes a tremendous amount of time and manpower

when you get lots how do you wash them? i scrub every second hand accessories and dolls with dish soap but it hurts my hands and makes them dry but i don’t even get huge lots !

I keep it vague because people get really weird and demanding and angry and I just am not going to put up with it. A lot got donated (charities that take lightly used toys or thrift stores depending). Anything else I have a huge box of things for friends to look through and take whatever they want if they come over so anything I felt collectors would want goes to that bin.

It’s in the plans :) I honestly consider MLP to be dolls… horse dolls but dolls nonetheless! The issue with MLP is that the majority of MLP history includes ponies with absolutely no stock imagery so we’d need a lot of collectors to come together to photograph their ponies!
