The vintage Barbie you looked at in the baggie was a decent price at $225. She actually is a Sears Store Exclusive Walking Jaime doll from the 1970s. They were only sold thru Sears Roebuck Co. for a short time. Mint in box they go for four figures.

I feel like I see so many people talk about going to "the doll show" but I never knew where to find info or updates about it, so thank you so much for giving the links on where to find them and the schedules!! This whole time I just assumed it was one big event from a single group so I'm super happy to learn otherwise!! edit: Also the first bratz furniture set you showed in the haul goes to the tokyo a-go go sushi/karaoke bar! (I'd recognize those chairs anywhere and I'm hunting for that green/ice piece specifically lol) and the third one goes to the hair salon that kinda goes with the spa you mention for the second one!!

I took my daughter to a Barbie show in San Diego early 90's..when she was 5. The custom doll I bought there is still one of my favorites. I was a pretty casual collector..but it was so much fun to see the sheer number of dolls all at once!

I had a great time at the doll show! It was my first! I wasn’t surprised to see you there! 😁. I described you to my daughter and she said, there she is! I did walk over and said hello, but you were busy with a transaction. I saw lots of dolls on your video that I wish I had seen! I Love Doll shows! I have always had a good time, and the doll community is so friendly, even more so than the toy and comic shows. Looks like you had a great time and got some cool stuff! Doll shows often have prices on the extremes, very low and very high. It just depends on what the seller values and how much overhead was. I have been vending at gem, doll, and toys shows for over 20 years, and often the cost to set up can be quite expensive, so that really effects prices.

Nice event, and it's cool that you won the raffle. I'd like to go to a doll show some day. It seems like a good way to discover different doll lines and see some of the vintage and less mainstream stuff in person. I've been to cons with figures, lego, and plushie vendors but they never have any dolls, and I don't know any doll people in person that I could drag to a doll show with me, but I like looking at footage to see what kinds of dolls are out there, might spot a gem or two.

Funnily enough, that Christmas carol barbie is a great representation of one of my fav Christmas movies. I watch it every year. Chuzzlewit the cat is the best. Highly recommend. I am so going to find this set one day! I too love Kelly's!

@@xCanadensis Jeeeeez I just looked her up on eBay and you are so right. She's going for around 400-600 dollars, which is ridiculous!! I haven't looked at American Girls in years since I just plan on having my 6 dolls from my childhood in my collection, but I had no idea some of the older ones were so expensive these days... so glad I kept all of mine in good condition! They were honestly my favorite toys when I was a kid so I'm really excited to be able to display them again. This video reminded me just how much I loved them. Anyways, glad you were able to get three new girlies you were looking for and I hope you're able to find a well-priced Sonali at some point! ❤

Back when I was super into Agtube the only common issue was cut hair. Prowling eBay used to be very good and I was able to find reasonable prices as recent as last spring. Facebook marketplace has since become my go to site. I got an almost pristine kanani (uncut soft hair and no marks on the body) and a complete mag outfit for $90. Scalping is practically non-existent on the site.

Doll shooowwwww💗💓💗🙉💗 I wish there was one near OK, I always watch Japanese youtubers that get to go to annual Doll shows and they always have a poster/flyer with an anime character made for the event and aside from big vendors like Licca Castle/Little Facotry and Takara, they also have people who make intricate dresses, hats, mini foods and gah I love watching their haul vids too. Oh, are the Cali Girl Barbies collectable now? I had Theresa and Christie back when they first came out and only sold them to make space...should have hung onto them. Doll shows and fairs are just the greatest fun! I used to go to the doll fair in Kensington Town Hall years ago - now I don't live near London it's much harder to get to. And the last one I went to was dominated by reborns and antique porcelain, so not my jam. Ohhh, Poppy Parker is somewhere I'm tempted to go, but...I have resisted so far. Flower Wower is Mod Barbie...one of my faves!

Cecile is hard to get now? I got one with nice hair, her full meet outfit, and accessories for at most $250 back in 2018. Guess I just have really great luck with AG dolls. I use a wet toothbrush to comb through her hair and it looks great. Does anyone have tips on how to make the less curly hair soft? This might be caused by storing them in a colder dry room, but I found that the hair feels brittle and feel bad about it. Any tips on how to improve that would be greatly appreciated.

​@@xCanadensis most of my collection was bought off eBay like 5 years ago for around $100. It's frustrating but I always compare the prices for the same item. Some dolls just go for higher prices overall. Even though "rarity" shouldn't have a large effect on the price of an AG doll.
