Got a recommendation for xdefiant. Try setting acceleration to 0. And upping your sensitivity, and lowering the ads. It feels way more snappy this way. Same type of feel, just no acceleration so it feels nice and snappy.

So, in order to figure out the sensitivity ratio equation for Cod to Xdefiant, I recorded myself doing a full spin on call of duty on a 5 sensitivity. Then, I loaded up Xdefiant and recorded myself spinning at a 50 horizontal sensitivity. After comparing both values, I determined that I have no idea what I'm talking about.

I was having a really hard time with the Acceleration metric. I dropped it to 0 as per Mark Rubin's advice and upped my sensitivity to about 60. It's about perfect now.

W blame truth the goat lol but If you have acceleration on turn it to max and use under 50 sense if you don't max it or turn it to 0 it's weird it's like it creates a deadzone where you can't move the aimer

I was struggling a little until I offset my horizontal and vertical sensitivities. 40 horizontal - 30 vertical - and .50 ADS Multiplier, with aim accelerator at 0. I used a low sensitivity in COD 5, 5 with .80. Feels closer to my COD settings using the aforementioned XDefiant settings.

​@@JohnsBond007brother you nailed it. I seen on Twitter (from China) where a guy camped in a corner and spam amped non stop with a shotgun and couldn't get killed until he was hit with a grenade. People know there is an exploit in the spam the bunny hop and less hits register that's why it's being done. If the hit registration works I would not care about the bunny hopping as you state.

Nero have you ever tried the max turn acceleration? It allows you to have slow fine tune turning and when trying to turn fast, you have the ability to spin around faster

Yup, your monitor/TV needs to be able to accept 120hz. Otherwise the in-game option is locked.

Got a recommendation for xdefiant. Try setting acceleration to 0. And upping your sensitivity, and lowering the ads and high zoom multiplier to like 50%. It feels way more snappy this way. Same type of feel, just no acceleration so it feels nice and snappy. I was playing on 35/35 with accel and all things at 1.0x. I changed it to i think 70 or 80, somewhere around there, and set the ads stuff to 50%, while acceleration to 0. Feels very responsive and gets rid of that laggy feeling the game has. Give it a try! Worst that could happen is you dont like it, and change it back.

I like that there is no cool-down time for skills in the firing range so you can spam them and get familiar with them a lot quicker than you would if from just using them in-game. And you can change factions while in the firing range so you can try out all their skills on the targets, see what distances they are effective at and stuff. There's supposed to be an area specifically for skills but it isn't in the game yet, but being able to activate skills non-stop at the firing range is really helpful at getting familiar with them. What is the range of the incinerator drone? Can you jump with the shield? How long does the fuel tank last on the flamethrower? Stuff like this can be tested while in the firing range 😀

There is something in the vertical sensitivity not being scaled like it is in other games so you have to manually set it lower to get a 1:1 feel rather than setting them the same for hor and ver.

High score per minute and very good at map awareness. So my lobbies are at the top 10 percentile of skill. It’s rough. Try not to assume to much about others.

Aim Assist Strength/Follow - Sometimes you can experience jarring push pull feeling if its set to default. If you like control over that then lower it (ie -2). If you prefer no acceleration when turning ( can also cause jarring push pull feel) then turn acceleration speed to 0x and adjust Hortizontal and Vertical sensitivity (i.e. HZ 40 V 25). Vertical should be lower than HZ. You can lower ADS speed if you feel like sometimes you overshoot a target.

ADS multiplier is for people to get comfortable with their sensitivity across magnifications. For example, maybe you want more or less sensitivity when you ADS. What you want is to change your ADS multiplier. There are also two of them for low and high magnifications just in case you want it different for different magnifications of sights. Note: ADS multiplier does not give you the same sensitivity after changing your horizontal and/or vertical sensitivities as the multiplier multiplies itself with your current sensitivities to change your sensitivity when ADS.

I play on 35-35 1.0x multiplyer 1.35 acceleration but i set my aim assist to -2. The default AA feels too sticky and makes pulling away or fine adjustments difficult.

I'm having the worst experience with this game right now with the horrible netcode and desycing. Getting shot around corners, dying as soon as I come around a corner, bullets not registering, I get hitmarkers little to no damage is done. I yet to have a fair game but I still manage to go positive almost every game until I literally can't even challenge anyone.

The aim feels weird because your weapon doesn't return to the original aim point if you control recoil while firing. If you fire and don't control recoil, the weapon will return to the original aim point. If you move your aim at all while you're firing, the weapon will just stop and stay at the last location and not go back to the original aim point.

I heavily disagree with a lot of what you said, I think players should mess around until they find what’s right, my game felt like ass despite me still slamming until I found what I’m on now which is 63/70 x0.74 ADS, 2x accel, -2 Follow and 0 Deadzone As for the aim assist settings, -2 follow feels way better than 0 to me, aim assist in this game is so strong that it’s detrimental

Your riding this game hard but i cant stand it. 1. ABILITIES: The operator abilities are some of the most annoying toxic things in gaming, I just want to run around and casually shoot at players but people pop walls, go invisible, and can get an invincible amount of healing. Like for real idk whos idea it was to allow players to quickly deploy shields in front of themselves and teammates that take multiple clips to go through, it gets so annoying that i wish every single enemy had ballistic vests on every single life, and i had to play with that being my only disadvantage. 2. NO KILLCAMS: I'm super down for no skill based matchmaking but when you get decked by another dude i dont want it to stare at my body i want to see the killcam so i can see what he did, what i did from his pov, and how i can improve 3. MAP DESIGN: Small maps with big power positions that have really long lines of sight. Can feel like you constantly have to take the same gunfight over and over and the enemies naturally pile up on each other giving a lot of fights a random X vs X factor 4: CLUNKINESS: Just doesnt feel as good to play as recent releases like the finals, or like COD. Doesnt fundamentally compare with the fluidity of r6 either. Idk why but it feels like this game more then any other it takes forever to find your 'perfect sense' along with animations feeling slightly off
