When a game is Free to Play, you give open door access to Smurf accounts, Cheaters and a large amount of bad players. That's not to say there aren't cheaters in games with a box price, but I'd argue that you'd be hard pressed to find many cheaters or smurfs willing to pay 40+ every time they get banned..maybe once or twice, but certainly not three to five times... at least not many of them

If people are really in here thinking these guys just came to this game to make smurf accounts and not to compete, they are delusional. These guys are bored as hell smurfing, and have been asking for private matches and ranked fixes this entire time, XDefiant is failing all of these players, plain and simple, and the effects trickle down to everybody else. But yeah I guess all the top ranked players should just stop playing the mode they've been waiting years to play....oh wait, pretty much every top streamer already did that and left the game because ranked is unfinished and they came to compete, not to smurf. XDefiant is to blame, not the players, which is why Pat isn't saying shit. He knows they fucked up and are working as fast as they can to FIX RANKED so that these guys can actually play the game and not smurf. He knows this is the only way these guys can even play 4v4, the mode they came to XDefiant for. At this point this guy's literally complaining about a dozen players, they can't ruin that many matches lol and 8 of that dozen are typically playing each other, XDefiant Ranked has a lot bigger problems than smurfs... I know I might be an outlier here but I came to this game from overwatch which obviously is another highly competitive shooter. I don’t really mind smurfing tbh because if you climbed the latter you would have to play against those players anyways. I see it as a learning experience. I only disagree with it because of TOS but if we leave the TOS out for a second I believe it is fine. I say just get better and beat them next time.

XDefiant is a casual players fps game. Any one that rly thought that it was ever gonna be seriously competitive was drastically fooling themselves. It's a wannabe CoD / Hero shooter that fails at being both cuz they couldn't decide on being a good at one or the other. It was never gonna be a competitive fps game for these "pros" & streamers who majority of em were just hoping on the bandwagon to use it to get in on profiting off it early that have now moved on. The ones who stayed should wake up ranked & the entire game in general needs a massive overhaul to even be considered to one day be competitive & that's almost surely never going to happen. It can be a fun game to pub it up in that sadly just didn't know the right boxes to tick to make it be what they wanted it to be along with all major issues they just don't get on top of fixing 1st before minor ones.
