my story is totally the other way around, i never heard of them. first time i saw youngjae in 2021 when i watched mr queen and immediately fell in love with his speaking voice. then i saw him in police university and realized that his specialty really is comedy. then i saw him briefly in other productions and even when hes supposed to be serious there is still an invisible unspoken funny aura about him. alongside hongbin from vixx, he became my favorite idol actor. unfortunately it took me longer to get to his music due to the fact that i didnt know he had solo music and was afraid to get into a group that disbanded. but then in september 2023 i searched on yt for youngjae's solo songs and listened to everything i could find. and i found out there werent enough at all and i needed more of his vocals. thats how i decided to give bap a try and now i feel so upset and dissapointed with kpop fans in general because their music (of what ive heard so far) is so rare to find in the newer generations, yet i never see anyone talk of them or react to them. most bap music is really old school and classy and instrumental and melodies very high quality, none of that commercial over the top, polished artificial productions from artists that debuted after 2018. bap discography goes along with shinee and vixx (and some of old btob) which is the realest and closest you can get in a korean/universal/pop industry to the non pop music from the 70s 80s 90s which are the best eras in music history. and some of their voices in most of the songs make me feel emotional nostalgic and missing something i dont never knew. especially daehyun's and himchan's voices. and from time to time i get the sudden urge to look at this kind of moments when they were together. and it gets painful eventually

Thank you for stanning B.A.P , they are seriously one of the dorkiest groups I've seen. I got so late into this group (wake me up era) and while I do regret not supporting them before I'm glad I do know. Thank you so much for your guide, the vixx therapy joke got me too www. As a side note, have you seen Pentagon? They are a group of dork members too who self-compose their own albums. They work very hard, having 6 mini albums and 2 jp ones in the span of less than 2 years. I'd be really happy if you could check them out, take it as a rec from a fellow baby.
