Highly unlikely given an Uchiha Minato pretty much derails the coup, without Danzo doing so much stuff that its blatantly obvious to Shisui and Itachi the solution is using Shisui's eye on Danzo or failing that kill him, and expose the guy was planning to massacre one of Konoha's major clans. Fugaku never wanted a coup, but felt like he had no other option, but if the last hokage was an Uchiha there would be no reason to believe he or Itachi couldn't be Hiruzen's successor when he steps down again.
