I have an XP-Pen 15.6 but it doesn't always work right. It switches my brush settings out of the blue. Does this happen to anyone else and do you know how to fix it? THANKS Aram, love watching your videos!

I have quite an intressting experience with pen.tables Vs display.pen.tablets first time I used a pen.tablet for digital drawing/sketching/painting was when I was 19 years old (now I am 35) it was some third party device... some very unknown brand. It took me around 2 weeks of constant "training" to get use to coordinate my hand on the desk while looking at the monitor. It was an significant moment. I felt like I get the hang on it. From that moment on I was totally fine with a pen.tablet... never really had any desire to get a pen.display.tablet Around 12 years later I started at a DesignUniversity. Most of my co.students never had touched a tablet at all ever befor. I was pretty much the only guy having an experience... and especially an experience of constant drawing for the past 12 years. So the fresh students (including me) get their hands on freaking gigantic pen.display.tablets my co.students just had their first experience (nothing to compare it with) and just "ate it" they get along with it... starting to get used ... etc. etc... but I... I was about to freak out! this first time experience of using a full sized... wacom pen.display tablet was like... a total mindblow... but in a very negativ way!!! - Its freaking big --- where previously all I needed to do where subtle handmovements... now I needed to make freaking huge movements with my full arm... insane! --- It occupied almost my full desk... like a big chunk of plaster stone --- it got to be mounted on some kind of stand... which forced me to adjust my posture to the tablet... and not the other way around... I lost a huge amount of the freedom to sit as I wanted... I felt lilke fixed to an apperatus... and the biggest flaw of all was... - suddently my hand (and arm) blocked 1/3 of the complete screen! where previously I had a complete free sight... now there was a big junk of meet laying there and blocking my view. You have to deal with NON of these sideeffects if you are used to draw on a normal pen.tablet instead of a pen.display.tablet oh and one more point the pen.tablet costs around 30€ on ebay while you got to spend around 1200€ somethting something to get a pen.display tablet its totally bogus the only reason I can think of that pen.display.tablets are promoted and actually very successfully are: 1# People who want to get involved into digital art gain the idea that a display.pen.tablet is the better tool since it looks sooooo ... "professional" its out of question, that pen.tablet could do any kind of decent job at all... they dont even question that assumption. it looks like a tool for amateures... like childs toy to compare it with. 2# some people just cant get the hand eye coordination work out to be able to use a pen.tablet... ... I doubted this for many years... I just thought they give up too easily... they dont really try hard enough. But it really seems more like its a kind of a "skill" you have talent for... or just basicly dont. I can think of like playing a drumset... where you coordinate several body parts out of sync... I doubt everybody has the same kind of talent in motoric coordination to do a good job on this So yeah these are my toughts I thank the Lord to be abel to use a 30bugs pen tablet... in a size thats just like a small magazine laying on my table... while sitting around just the way I feel confortable with... no stand... no junk of meet placed on the screen... its a dream :)
