How do I tie it so it'll change sizes easier? I've tried making open-back shirts that tie as this does but it's so hard to put on since I can't really change the size one I put the yarn through. if I pull it only the bottom part of the back changes. It's hard to put on since I'm wider at the bottom but my waist is small. This makes it hard to adjust to fit well. Is there a way to tie it so the sizes can change easier?

Hi I know you commented this a year ago, but as for getting a corset to cinch properly, the way you are supposed to lace it is not from the top to the bottom, but so that you are pulling the ties from the middle! This way you can adjust both the top and the bottom of the corset easily. Try googling "how to properly lace a corset" and you'll see what I mean, it will make everything make sense! ❤️

hi! wanted to ask for some help -- i was making this and found it got longer by 4 inches by the time i got to the 2nd front row post -- do you have any tips to avoid this? thanks a lot!! love the pattern!!
@cjewelscrochet29403 жыл бұрын
Hmm maybe it's the tension? Or check the number of stitches of they are increasing 😅

@@cjewelscrochet2940 thank u! do you think it might help if i just make a slightly shorter base? because i've been keeping the stitches pretty tight thus far 😅

@@cjewelscrochet2940 hi again !! really sorry to keep bothering you and you're such a joy to keep on replying to me, i just wanted to ask -- when you mean 3 decrease on the back part, do you mean to loop through 3 stitches or to do 3 separate decreases on 2 stitches each? thanks again !!
@cjewelscrochet29403 жыл бұрын
@@rommielle5958 3 seperate decreases 😊
@elsiex12583 жыл бұрын
hi! when you repeat the 9th front post row, do you still do three decreases in the middle of every row or do you just keep it at the same amount of stitches?

There will be no dec on the middle hehehe

mannn, how important is it to place the hdc on top of the 2 chains. I have not been doing that cause then my rows start increasing
@serenity38913 жыл бұрын
how many stitches should you end up with after the hdc row after the first front post row? i ended up with 108 when i originally started with 106.
@cjewelscrochet29403 жыл бұрын
hmmm as far as I remember, there's no increase in this pattern hehehe. Maybe you doubled some stitch hehehe
@RG-em2lg3 жыл бұрын
@@cjewelscrochet2940 I come across the same problem. I fix it by not crocheting in the 2 chain ends. If I do, and count those as stitches, it increases from 106 to 108.

I'm not sure why but mine keeps getting longer after each row. How do I fix that?
