Dunno, from all requiems we have seen, they all had the power to control such major things as time, destiny and souls in a big scale. I mean Bite the dust could return 1 hour back and mark anyone who know him to explode, GER also can control the time, resetting some time before attack begin and preventing destiny and Polnareff's Silver Chariot could mess with the souls of any living being in a large scale. My point is that getting a Requiem would make SP something more than just copy of his relatives powers, maybe something like Overheaven, ability to make your own destiny with a bare hands or something like that

well... its less of that and more... it gives what you need the most. GER gave giorno the denial of truth, because its what giorno needed to deny Diavalo's king crimson to a point in order to win. i gained denial of fate, which allows me to deny the fate given to me by bypassing the death like tsukionomi up to 2 minutes at one go. and Jotaro needed power over something that can deny fate just like mine, so the arrow gave him power over blood of his family. all of the act 3 happened because dio decided to fuck joesters, and jonathan's blood in dio's body calling jotaro's blood all the way to other side of the world. jotaro's ability was the same as Dio's because jonathan's blood powering Jotaro's stand. that is the reason when he used the arrow, his BLOOD reacted, calling every living joesters blood to empower himself. and io and BEHOLD: EVERY JOESTARS IN ONE

I really like this video because it falls into one of my favorite theories. There's a theory that your requiem ability is whatever the user most desires at that point, which is why requiem abilities are completely different from the previous stand's ability. Like Polnareff desiring the arrow to not fall into anyone hands, Giorno desiring to defeat a reality-warping stand and, if you count this as a requiem, Kira wanting his identity to never be found. Star platinum requiem also follows this as his requiem ability has nothing to do with his last ability and his desire was to defeat absolute zero, which he did by borrowing other Joestar abilities and using Giorno himself to make it so GER cant use absolute zero.

The fact Jonathans theme was playing in the background of Star platinum’s reqiuem transformation, just fits so well in this situation. SPR main abilities: 1. Soul manipulation: Literally disable anyone or any stand and last until the user allow the stand to free them.( DIO Over Heaven is immune to this ability). 2. Warping Mindset: User can switch mind with the stand, this makes the stand has no range limitation.( But the user's physical form will still be the same spot which is easily to get attack) 3. Family's Call: User can telepathy with anyone in their family( blood relatives) no matter they are dead or not.( You can't talk but you can use sign language to communicate). 4. Universal Time Stop ( will be unlock when the user have enough potential): Time Stop for almost an infinite amount of time.( This can be cancel by GER's Return to Zero and TWOH can move in the TS for longest 5 minutes). 5. *"Reality is in MY Control"* :Cancel and Reflect any kind of damage or Reality Breaking/Overwrite back to the enemies. ( Strong enough to fight with The World Over Heaven and cancel Made in Heaven's Universe Reset). 6. The Unmatch Speed: User and Stand can travel/attack at and over the speed of light.( This cost a lot of energy when you move surpass the speed of light and will possibly stuck in a stop time for a short amount of time. the faster you go the chance gets higher and the stuck time gets longer). 7. *I.M.M.O.R.T.A.L.I.T.Y.* :The stand can heal their user and even reverse them their physical form back to the point before the fight.( TWOH's Reality Overwrite can cancel this skill for 10 minutes). 8. Indestructible Form: The stand create an indestructible force field that only can be damage by The World Over Heaven's Reality Overwrite punches. 9.Time Travel: Basically a short time bootleg version of Bite the Dust ( travel back 10 minutes into the past) and Time Erase ( Erase 5 seconds- 10 minutes of time).( This also can be cancel by GER's RTZ just like the time stop). 10. Star Blast: The strongest attack ever exist. SPR creates a FUCKING STAR and throw it into the enemies. The smallest size is equal to our sun and the biggest is over a light year.( But bigger size = more energy consumption, if abuse this skill too much can lead the user to a serious starvation or even pass out in a coma and yes cant be heal by the *I.M.M.O.R.T.A.L.I.T.Y.* ability).

I like how he actually used the requiem arrow the way it was intended, because it doesnt just giveyour stand a power up, it interprets your latest thought and desire into your stand. For example, Polnareff needed to keep the arrow away from Diavolo, so thats what silver chariot requiem did, Giorno needed a way to beat king crimson, so g.e.r reverted king crimsons time skips. Jotaro’s thoughts in this scenario was to obtain power from the entire Joestar bloodline, and thus, star platinum requiem obtained that power.
