m guessing 2 things. Either is Takahashi reimagining Saga's envisioned lore/events into Blade's or there's some strong story and timelines connection lore that we didn't know just yet between Blades and Saga. Could the Earth-of events of Xenoblade affected directly Saga's timelore? But that's impossible. How could they're gonna match Xenosaga's Grimoire Verum Earth/Zohar experiments vs Klaus Earth/Conduit experiments? Also, there's one more thing. It is worth mentioning that KOSMOS database entry on Episode 3 read as follows: "The battle over, KOS-MOS falls into an eternal sleep and drifts, like the passage of time, through the emptiness of space. A BLUE LIGHT penetrates her battered and faded figure. Perhaps that light will be the cause of a new awakening". If it that is our original KOSMOS in FR ending, does that mean that similar events between Saga and Blades are occurring at the same time, but in different timeline and universes? And how will be possible that Saga's Earth (Lost Jerusalem) will be the same as the ne who appears in the final sequence of the merging worlds at Future Redeemed ending?

Having recently finished fr myself not that long ago, my theory is that if you consider xenosaga a story of post lost jerusalem (earth) disappearance, then blade is a chronicle of the planet itself, of what exactly happened to it durring the incident. Xenosagas lost jerusalem disappearing into another dimension, splitting into 2 seperate bodies again yet again seperated by some kind of dimensional fabric becoming the setting for the blade series.

That's because they are both references to Deus. Deus is refered to as Alpha and Omega in Xenogears (of course it's also a reference to the bible). Omega's design is literally a carbon copy of the final form of Deus. Omega is also outright implied to be the beta version of Deus in Saga (Gears happens after Saga). Alpha has the weird creepy human face of the original Deus and the colors of final form Deus. Ontos is also one of the computers that originally controlled the Xenoblade equivalent of Deus (Aion). I want to add that Deus' plan was to grow new life on the planet, become one with it, and depart for a new world once he had regained enough power. That's literally Alpha's plan. The Siren Model Kit also explain the Aion system and it's the same as the Deus system in perfect Works. -The Power Source (Zohar/Counduit) -The decision making unit with three personalities (Kadomony/Trinity) -The world obliterating weapon (Deus/Aion) -An autonomous defence system (Diabolos/Artifice) The other funny part is that if we now consider that Klaus' world is lost Jerusalem then it also makes Aion the blueprints for Omega since we know that most of the stupidly powerful artefacts in saga were made using blueprints from a document that was originally decripted by a canadian scientist after being found alongside the Zohar. The Y-Data could have been used to make Aion before being reused 5000 years later to make Omega and then Deus.

@Goddess Shadow I don't think they will. But we know that originally Xenosaga was meant to be 6 games long. And since this boss is very grandiose and we know they tried to fit as much of the plot from all the planned games into one I just suspect that this was meant to be the final boss of 5 (with Zarathustra being the final boss of the 6th.) until they cut down the rest of the plot to fit into just Xenosaga 3.

It was not hard, and it should not have been 6 parts. I know they planned 6, but they were too full of themselves. If you read Xenogears Perfect Works (translations online at E-hentai, even), the original plan for what _should_ be "the Xenosaga" in total sometimes spanned millenia between stories. Xenosaga should have been a complete, singular game, and part one of six... Xenogears was part five, and takes place well over ten thousand years later...enough time for a rogue AI to crash land on a planet and grow humans to populate it, that civilization to grow and destroy itself, then most of its greatest technology to be lost/sequestered over the following eight millenia. It's like... this was supposed to be an epic that spanned civilizations, but Monolith got greedy like those .Hack motherfuckers

No, he isn't even the final antagonist of Xenosaga. Wilhelm has orchestrated the entirety of human history since the death of Jesus. Yuriev pretty much exists only because he helped Wilhelm by conveniently bringing all the relics of gods to Michtam when Wilhelm needed them.
