Mubashir Khan lol true, and another great movie to play is Shadow Hearts Covenant. Over freaking 6 hours long cutscenes despite the low budget Aruze gave Nautilus and with gameplay cutscenes we clock at over 12 hours. Takahashi and Machida went overboard with the story in the PS2 era but Sony market their console as a movie player, not even Squaresoft had this long cutscenes without gameplay. Kojima got jealous and wanted to outdo them with MGS4. 8 hours and 29 min to watch cutscenes. Suck it competitors!

Can I just talk for a second about how good this dub is? Think back to the early 2000s, when this came out - remember how terrible video game voice acting was? I feel like this game, along with Metal Gear Solid and a few others, pushed the envelope and demonstrated that video games could have voice acting that was beyond what was heard in, say, Resident Evil. The fact that they got the same studio and crew that gave us the Cowboy Bebop dub certainly didn't hurt.

chaos has an extremely calming presence, he can convince anyone with anything just by talking to them. Allen is deeply in love with Shion that whenever she's around his whole focus shifts to her completely especially when she is facing danger so that's why he was too distracted to be pulled in by chaos's aura. Also, chaos doesn't force people into trusting him but his effect is potent enough to attract other ordinarily focused people.

It was through the Conduit (as we came to learn throughout the story) that the reality Klaus originated from was fractured creating several new realities. these new realities are the resulting stories we have come to know throughout the series.

I noticed that upon watching this for the first time about a year ago and it made me so happy. I was so glad that they included it in the game - especially given that I did not know who that character was, nor what was to come. Great inclusion of detail, and good potential foreshadowing.

I loved this game so much. Kosmos was such an interesting Android, to be honest, she sparked my entire interest in Androids and Cyborgs and the differences between them. I loved the Glossary you could use to look up all the information and terms for their world too. I love the scene in the opening where she blast straight through the Lt, so she could more effectively save Shion. When I am playing an game and I shoot through my teammate or throw grenades, AOE, or anything and Friendly Fire my team but still kill the bad guys/boss/enemies. It's called Kosmos-ing

This is still one of my all time favorite games. I was at a GameStop getting a copy of the original FF VII back in..2002? Lol but they gave me this 8 hour movie called Xenosaga. We put it in some 6 months later and I was hooked. Love the characters, the story. The second game was dicey...the gameplay was not as good as the first..there seemed to be a host of problems. But I was in it for the long haul..lol and the third game was fucking fantastic!! I would love to play this on one of the current consoles!

They apparently thought about it, but market analysis said it wouldn't be profitable. At this point, Bamco is content enough to just sell off KOS-MOS/T-ELOS to various games like X-Zone, Xenoblade, and SRT. That way they make money without having to put much in. I think if we ever see a remaster or remake, it will be a situation like Baten Kaitos Origins or Bayonetta 2/3. Nintendo funds it, and it becomes exclusive to the switch/whatever console, despite Bamco still owning the rights.

I think it is a reference to the fact that Kos Mos was an artificial vessel created to awaken Mary's consciousness in it. While she had blue eyes, that consciousness awakend, even if only for some time and in extreme situations. "Will feeling pain... make me complete?" I guess she was a bit confused by her state in that moment, probably even a surge of emotions coming through her as she realized some things she can do beyond her body, but probably not quite there in terms of awaking the Mary's consciousness. The strugle to to reach her final form is what probably puts her in the position to ask herself if more pain will do it...

I would always think about this game though and have always wanted to play it again however since I had never gotten very far in the story (Game froze in the beginning of the game). Man this game holds up after 22 years and on the PS2 for that matter. I got it on my 16th birthday on release the release date. I've always had a special place for Episode 1. This was the best of the trilogy for me. Still to this day I'm sending out a big F U to the final boss Sophie Peithos. I love the Elsa crew, hate Shion's voice, the song Kokoro still is my all time fav. Episode 2+3 were good but Ep. 1 is a classic banger minus Virgil's 10 minute speech and that creepy bunny. Funny fact…this game apparently does have anime. I think I saw it on Funimation some Years back but it merged with Crunchyroll and nobody can find this 12 ep show. Some “pirated” sites may have it…but all three fucking hentai ads are infuriating. Best option I found and it’s costly is to get it off Amazon

Just started a playthrough of this for first time in about 15 years. Despite loving it (then and now), I had forgotten how slow and drawn out this game was. Some cutscenes go on for so much longer than they needed to, kept having to check that the game hadn't crash or was suffering insane slowdown. From my save file, playtime so far is 2h 31m and I just located the last cutscene I saw in game at 1h 43m of this video. So out of two and half hours of playing, only 45 mins approx have actually been 'playing'. Sonys rep for making 'cinematic' games started earlier than I remembered.

To me, this is the greatest RPG of all time. I love FF7, but this one in particular had the deepest story and most convoluted plot twists...not to mention the battle system which is second only to Grandia 3. I really hope they decide to finish the series.

Tbh the box art of KOS-MOS with what “angel wings” was cool. Ok I remember I was at GameStop or EB games. And read the front and back. Opened it up and browsed the booklet. Skimmed through it. I thought the characters were cool and I read the descriptions. JR. is my fav this dude where’s like this rad overcoat with some sort of cross thing on it with lime green skinny jeans lmao with the zip off leg piece we all remember as teens. And these electric blue uhhhh it’s 2024 So some sort of mid chukka boots with the ONE cross earring and bright pink hair. I was like “…he’s so punk rock!” Sucks it takes forever like 20 hours for his intro and even then he doesn’t join immediately. And he’s a gunner with hilariously dubbed battle cries!

It break my heart that this series was never continued. I wanted closure but never got it. Then the anime came out and I was hopeful but that too was canceled. Sad to know we will never get to see the ending of this series.

After seeing how Xenoblade 3’s DLC ended and the news of the Xenoblade X remaster for Switch on March 2025, I think that Monolithsoft is going to tie the different Xeno series together and to complete them with their future games. At the very least, it seems obvious to me that they will give continuation to Xenoblade X. That’s why they had to bring it back. It’s either that or they wanted that story brought back. And the only other thing that’s close to that story (with the importance of a female android) is Xenosaga.

@@mangaka08 Well Xenogears was by Squaresoft in the first place so the Xenosaga universe is created from a Squaresoft idea. Too bad they didn't do all 6 games, although it's never too late. I'd love to see them continue the saga for PC.

A difficult story to follow unless you research the story lines before you watch as it is very fast moving as most anime stories are but it was great to see the full movie. .. so thanks for uploading it ... I was unable to drag myself away from it. .. my only critic was the music, it was inappropriate in places and in a succinct description. .. crap. I look forward to seeing the other movies.
