This is madness. I dont know how people have the patience to find shinies. I once tried for a Magikarp and gave up after 300+ attempts. When i play online and see people with a whole team of shinies i'm astounded how they find the time and sanity to put themselves through such a grind.

Don’t know if you have already attempted it, but can you win firered/ blue/ red/ whatever using only an abra? (Everstoned, so he can’t evolve) . Only rule, you can use a TM cheat code just at the start, only to make him learn a basic move (otherwise he would not be able to fight with just teleport) of course not psychic or psybeam because they are too strong and not basic, and one other cheat to get a everstone, so that you are not annoyed every time he tries to evolve . Throughout the game you can of course make him learn new TMs when you obtain them.

2 Things I think the slot machine depends on your Trainer Id (Can be wrong though I’m assuming it since it‘s not the first time something is bound to the trainer id) And 2nd why not use the vs seeker instead of the slot machines would be slower at first but when you had get a hold of the thief tm teached it to growlithe ko‘d meowth‘s until you had a amulet coin and used it with the vs seeker you could train growlithe get a lot of extra money and maybe had your money for Dratini faster

With emulator, you could have used the save state feature to save when you encounter a shiny and then load the save state if you failed to catch the shiny
