Deja vu I recently noticed that in xerath's level 1 art, the are almost no small sarcophagus pieces, and only big metallic looking pieces, but in his level 2 art, most of the big pieces are now broken, but there are still some big pieces floating around, and finally in gus level 3 art there are almost no big pieces of the sarcophagus, which I think is a really cool way to tell that the sarcophagus is barely able to contain xerath as his power grows

I think Heimer on Bilgewater with Nami as Support will be insane. Having Zap Sprayfin drawing you Flash of Brilliance consistently and not needing to skip a turn in order to be able to play it in turn 5 with heimer thanks to atune. And working for Nami level up for free on top of that. Everything just falls into place.

I feel like Taliyah Malphite has already been solid since the previous buffs to the champs. The deck has performed really well for me already and i’m excited for it to get more tools. Malphite at 10 mana landmark summon level up has been particularly deadly, with this requirement being met every time before i play him.

I think we already know that landmarks counting down counts as them being destroyed, since that counts for the daily mission of "Summon and Destroy landmarks"

You're correct that a countdown landmark reaching 0 counts as being "destroyed", we saw it happen in the video when the Stasis Statue created by Servitude of Desolation activated, reviving Xerath, increasing his level-up and triggering his passive damage. So I wonder what happens with countdown landmarks saved by the Servitude? Do they respawn with their countdown restored to full, or only on 1 again? Must be the former, right? But it says "store", not "create a copy"... Also, you underestimated Sandseer. It's not 'Draw a card, and if it's a landmark draw 2', it's 'Draw a card and keep drawing until you stop drawing landmarks'. "Repeat this effect" INCLUDES itself. I expected you to be more impressed by that.

Xerath is a nice card that nets you extra value in your game plan of destroying your allied landmarks, much like Yasuo with stuns. It’s ok but imo it’s the rest of the support cards in this package that seems to make landmarks deck looking very scary indeed. The Magus making Taliyah and/or Malphite have Overwhelm is scary, and Waste Walker scaling with health is super nuts. Historically any cards that scale with health in this game has walked the line between very strong and game breaking.

I love how everyone of these you get through some mini rant and then go "am I recording? Good" lol. They gave Xerath some good legs to stand on and will likely be fun at the very least. I think you should do senna/veigar first not necessarily together but one of those 2 early. The darkness seems like it will take some getting used to the play patterns as alot of the create a darkness cards only do if you dont have one in hand. Sion for sure early the amount of little discard synergies that have been printed will make him super fun as a finisher. The rummage nerf hurts a bit but there are still few cards in the game that can generate as much value as rummage does. It'd be cool to see a Xerath at any point really same for Nami they both seem super fun and are being built with some decent cards just from the new set it's just finding what is consistent. Poppy and Tristana are neat but meh whenever you feel like smorking it up with some nerds.

actually it make sundisk decks viable , xerath can be leveled up without being on board and without a high deck building cost , so you can either go turbo xerath/azir with a swarm package or turbo xerath/Renekton with a vulnerable/buff package. Xerath design is kind of genius since it makes both landmark and mono shurima good.
