Killing champions is a means to an end. The game is won by destroying towers and the nexus, not by kills. Every single difference in KDA can be overcome. That is TheBausFFS' claim to fame. Dying doesn't matter to an extent as long as you maintain a pressure lead. That is more true top lane than any other lane, and Yorick is a pressure MACHINE.

Been a while since i played LoL but i never feared a xerath, mostly because they seemed to struggle to hit their combo, but my god im not even in this game and im terrified at what you did, well done

Zwag, Magic penetration boots are more effective when they have less MR, not more. For example, with 150 MR they receive 60% reduced magic damage, boots decrease it to 57.5%, by 2.5%. But if someone has 70 MR, he receive 41% reduced magic damage and boots decrease it to 35.5%, by 5.5%. So if they have a lot of MR - it's the reason to avoid getting flat penetration, from boots or shadowflame.

Is there any value in a black fire + rylai's scepter build? It seems like a 4 second slow on every Q and ultimate shot would help land combos and lines up pretty well with Q cool down time. It's less bursty than Luden's+Mejai's, sure, but may help against comps you can't just pop with two abilities?
