Even if the articulation is limited, this is a quality looking figure. I've love to have my hero figures on the shelf fighting this guy.

it's actually hilarious because I initially got the brown one and loved it, than saw your review for the black one and decided to get it, and just as it came in a couple of days ago, you're reviewing the brown one. Full circle. Xesray essentially started out doing gladiator figures with interchangeable armor and clothing, and they were solid figures from the start. But their big break came when they did their female gladiatrix wave, which put them on everyone's map. They're really good muscular female figures that you don't get much of in the 6"/7" scale. Super expensive in after market now for obvious reasons. They're going to do some nordic warriors/druids/deer-a-taurs(?) next I think.

Xesray doesn't reissue anything. Those who missed the first couple waves of their gladiators a few years ago have to buy the 2nd hand prices at almost twice the initial cost.

Both look incredible. Personally I think Minotaurs look better with hooves. It just adds to the part man part bull vibe.

I was able to swap the armor pieces on my Kasos and Thales. Popping the waist off to change the belts was dificult, but it wasn't too bad with heat.

Love both but the black one is more menacing. I love all the mythical type characters, but i have to say i am a bit disappointed with this review because, you did not mention hasblow at least 3 times. Anthony we have to keep it up, let´s goooooo.
