If you want an advice maybe go to a salon but if you really wanna do it at home watch Ally art's videos on KZbin about bangs ( if you have time to kill xD) , she did a video generally about bangs and then bangs for the body types and the first cut you do : cut them much longer and then you cut them shorter gradually DO NOT CUT SHORT THE FIRST TIME coz you'll end up with VERY short bangs ( unless it's what you want) 😊
