Usb wifi dongles do not work on android phones because they do not have the drivers to even recognize the adapter. You would need a modded kernal or simply install a linux os onto your phone. But if someone was to take the linux drivers for the adapter they could compile it to work on a normal android device with albit some minor adjustments and it shouod work. Cause android is a linux kenel.

How could you immediately test second time even without switching the wifi network from the old to the new external wifi for a moment if we assume external wifi detected by phone so fast ( which is not the case ) and drivers are automatically installed so fast ( which in reality no drivers supports external wifi by default without making phone root )..Big thumps down..

You can actually do this now though. Pretty sure even when this video came out.. so jokes on YOU . Kali nethunter is a pen-testing OS for android phones. It has a custom kernel which allows(basically requires) you to plug a wifi adapter in, as long as it doesn't need more power than what the phone can provide through USB.
