Hey guys, sorry for pinning this comment on all videos but I want to give you an update on the channel. I've been slowly adding a show archive to the videos including a full transcript added as sub titles and a full track listing (with links to KZbin videos for each track). Pilkipedia archive link has been added as well and I've been having fun illustrating some of KP's best bits, I'm adding these to a shop incase anyone is interested: www.man-moth.com/ It's taking me a while to update the archives, especially as I don't work Mondays so please bear with me as I chip away at it. Lots of love, Man Moth.

This episode has some of the most fever-pitch moments of tension. So many really icy and angry interactions. It's also got some of the best song transitions - where a mood-appropriate song fades in over Karl moaning, or going into a rage. A real pearler.
@williamsmith6662 жыл бұрын
We can't say for sure what happened during the songs, but I feel Ricky may have felt justified in giving Karl shit for the whole censored skit fiasco. He wasn't any worse than usual here; compare this to "Hamburgler", where he was a total pill from start to end. It really seemed like Karl was in a major mood that day, the first one to be antagonistic and sticking with this funk the whole rest of the show. But it may have been the last straw for Ricky after weeks on end of Karl's blissful ignorance driving him crazy.

There's some serious shit in this episode. Karl is like a coiled spring. You can almost feel the heat of his rising anger. And it was almost 100% Ricky, who displays a few traits often associated with sociopaths. He _knows_ that Karl is not equipped to deal with matters of censorship as they apply to station policy or broadcasting standards. Left alone, he'd just do as he was told, obeying all the rules with no fuss. But Ricky knows that Karl is vulnerable, and like the children in Ricky's French class story, Ricky preys on Karl until Karl loses his mind.

I long ago stopped being able to listen to the one where they force Karl to eat hamburgers and grapes. Too cruel. Skip it every time. Close to feeling that way about this one, but I live for that story about an old man being mistaken for a baby.
