This was such a cool chapter pretty much the whole thing was a fight and this dudes stand is really cool definitely some great artwork for it. Paco has been awesome so far can’t wait to see if they actually get this guy to join them. Jodio holding the enemy underwater reminds me of the I am a rock fight on part 8 also which was great he really breathed in bubbles from the raft like it’s a video game

Breathing in bubbles like that is a thing. When you are getting your preliminary SCUBA diving certificate, one of the skills you need to demonstrate is pretty much what Jodio did. Just replace the raft with your mouthpiece going haywire and releasing a lot of air. This also reminds me of Jonathan inhaling air trapped under some rocks during the Blueford fight.

Just from this chapter alone, i am feeling very confident that the kind of “particle manipulation” ability i mentioned last month could be what we are seeing from this arcs stand user. The way he seemingly fused with the environment and still fragmenting like sand when in contact with Jodio and the group. And if the speculation is correct and this guy could just be a rock human of sorts, maybe a Hawaiian Lava-Rock Human who is trying to take the lava rock back for someone.

Until further usage of the Matte Kudasai, the stand has been stated to only make defective products. The camera it first duplicates shows a completely different version of the gang as it cant completely replicate their features. Every gun and bomb is likely to misfire or shoot the wrong kind of bullets/explosion. I look forward to the useful applications of this "weakness"

I noticed that the sand particles were completely absent when the illusionist was totally submerged, so I think that's the main thing that's trapping him now. It's probably not too much of a stretch to say that his iridescent sand comes back the moment any part of him leaves the water, which would let him make that wave gambit he attacked Paco with.

Just recently beaten LAD8 and I loved the game so much and was one of those games I would play all day saying I’d keep doing the story mission but end up doing some random side quests or doing the Sujimon quests and exploring the underground dungeons for better loot as deep down I didn’t want to beat the game and end the story there so I tried to delay the inevitable but ended it in a satisfying conclusion that I can’t wait to see how RGG will cook with LAD 9 or will we get a new Judgement game or hopefully a remake (hint hint Dead Souls or Kenzan or maybe just maybe even kurohyou? Sega please I beg of you) but you know once the next game drops I’ll also drop off the face of the earth to play it
