Based on how the group is structured, HInata is positioned as Main Dancer, but many have their favorite and in XG they are like positionless performers. Jurin, being the leader, gets the choreography first, then breaks it down for the rest of the group. I believe she mentioned it on an Extra. Personally, I think because Jurin has that snowboarder background, she is always planning x amount of steps ahead, which allows her to lead the group and see the whole choreography. Regardless of anyone's favorite, as a unit these ladies are dangerous. Even some dancers refer to them as a singing dance crew. It also helps when you got Sienna Lalau as a main contributing choreographer from Day 1.

Cocona is the best dancer and Rapper in the group, but since shes the youngest member and Jurin is the oldest and the "leader", They dont give Cocona alot of the rap and singing verses and they have her in the back so she doesn't take the spotlight away from Jurin. Cocona is the only member of the group that went Viral globally for her rapping and of course when she shave her head. Asian people put importance on age and have this idea that because you are older you deserve respect and have better opportunities. In the US, respect is earned no matter the age. Jurin is great but she does get majority of the spotlight because she is the oldest and is the "leader" of the group. They paried Jurin with Cocona to rap together to try to get Cocona's hip hop fan base to pay attention to Jurin, but all it did was show that even though Jurin is good at rapping, she doesn't have the "it" factor compared to Cocona. Of both Jurin and Cocona put out solo raps, Cocona would be the favorite, its already been proven when they did that xypher XG tape #2 and Cocona went viral with the Hiphop Community and even the artist that she sampled off of, JID, gave her a shout out. I hope she goes solo in a couple of years!

Cocona refers to herself as the hip hop maknae. Meaning her specialty is rapping even though we know she can sing as well. So your argument makes no sense because Chisa gets the most lines overall, not Jurin. Also I guess you haven't watched a lot of Woke Up and Shoting star reactions because as soon Jurin starts rapping that first verse it catches people off guard

@goodfella1401 It makes sense cause he was not talking about Chisa, rewatch the video. He made a comment that he noticed Jurin gets most of the spotlight and said she's the better dancer. Of course Jurin would be seen as the better dancer because the focus is on her most of the time. Chisa is the best singer in all of the Asian girl groups right now. But again he talked about Jurin and I talked about Jurin and Cocona. Maybe you need to rewatch this video again before telling someone they don't make sense, cause the topic of Chisa was never brought up, 🤡.
