YG confirmed that they don't have anything to do with the group, this is all Avex. Will be interesting to see if their songs going forward will be in English only or a mix of Japanese and English. I also love this pop/R&B sound, gives me a Fifth Harmony/Little Mix vibe. They have a big future ahead of them if Avex promotes them well...which they have a mixed track record with some of their other girl groups.

YG JAPAN and AVEX partnership is called YGEX and it is only for YG artists promotion in Japan. XG debut in AVEX not YGEX. The XG label is XGALX/AVEX JAPAN

Was it just me, or was Chisa singing all of the parts? I think Juria only sang that one part after the rap. If I’m not mistaken? Hinata didn’t have any lines. She may have said Tippy Toes once at the end. Jurin is a beast, such an incredible visual. Harveeyyyyy! Harvey gives me younger Camila Cabello during her fifth harmony days, only during the dance sections. Her rap kills!

Executive Producer Jakops (Junho Park) debuted as a singer in Korea and has been engaged in Kpop as a producer and composer for over 13 years. His father is Korean, his mother is Japanese, he is of Japanese nationality and was born in the United States. He came to Korea in 2009. He is fluent in English, Japanese and Korean. XG is a group that was born with all their might through a global project that they have been preparing for over 5 years. The group consists of Japanese members who practiced with the Kpop system in Korea and set global goals with English songs. The choreography of this song is good, it's addictive, it's stylish and it's good. It looks like a more evolved version of Kpop. Making a song in English is an important point. In that sense, XG group will be a sufficiently stimulating group for K-Pop.

The MV dance performance uses YGX, but YGX is a dance studio, so anyone can use.

Avex stopped blocking restrictions since 2019 (probably a Reiwa Era thing - new emperor, new changes). JPop in general are beginning to open up. Even Johnny's also started having separate KZbin channels for their current active artists and uploading full MVs too.

So the reason i think avex isnt doing much is because the person who created this group is a 2nd generation kpop group DMTN member Simon he is japanese korean and he started this company of XGALX which is a subitary of avex japan but based in korea that uses the ygx academy for studios and recently used 1million for some filming
