The last outfit is a samurai inspired style representing their Japanese culture, modern samurai warriors while also representing wolf pack as the hats have wolf ears. The opening is also Japanese inspired instrumentals. This song representing who they are, their Japanese culture and background, all the “demonic” (you referenced) creatures are wolves (ALPHAZ) which they are protective of (Maya referencing they are the mothers protecting their kids), there’s so many references that I have to watch this over again many times to catch! Song is fire 🔥

今回のツアーでcoconaの両親が、本人はもっと早く髪を短く切りたかったけど、事務所に止められてたと教えてくれたみたいです😊 髪を切りたいcoconaの想いは、いつかきっと本人が教えてくれると思いますが、両親から話を聞いたALPHAZは感動したそうです😭✨️ 本人はとても大人な考えを持っていて、自分をしっかり持ってる子だと…😭💚 coconaも事務所もとても素敵だと思いました✨️

Song of the year, MV is giving me chills, beat is fire, lyrics are awesome, flow is another level, this is very diffrent and captivating. I keep rewatching thi MV and keep finding something new each time. These girls are so talented and Simon did great job with them.

So XG's concept is that they're aliens. The reason they're so hard on that theme is because of how they were created. Simon the producer and Co of XGALX wanted to establish a completely different type of group. From their music, to the musicians, and even their dancing. His belief is that quality is better than quantity If you put artists in a healthy environment and nourish them in the crafts, while also pushing them to be better by being brutally honest; the gems will sorts themselves out. The girls are so good because Simon purposefully spotlights their talent vs their sexuality. They're all still sexy, but it's only enhanced because they lead with their voices and dance. When it comes to the plot of the MVs you have to start from the beginning. When they debuted they were basically in their alien sphere shouting out their existence. As soon as you hit Shooting Star era, you get them in their first traveling bit (that's why they're on their ship). Last year's Puppet Show, New Dance, TGIF, and GRL GVNG showcase them *exploring* different worlds at a time. In between the previously mentioned releases, we got Hesonoo/XG-Gene which mark the *birth* of the alien group XG. You see, Simon knew that the way they work would be controversial. They're Japanese women promoting and training in Korea, yet their music is in all English. They call their music X-Pop and consider themselves a global group. That's an insane foundation. Now we finally get to Woke Up, which is essentially right after Hesonoo/X-Gene (the birth). The concept for this MV is *conquering* different worlds. They visit different genres in their music, but absolutely smash it every time while maintaining the core XG sound/theme. The wolves incorporated into everything is a nod to the fans who are referred to as Alphaz

Loved that you caught the 6 4 for Impala, but i was thinking maybe Nintendo 64 for Mario Kart drifting. Also loved that you mentioned Cocona's head movement when she hit that beat, I thought it was so sick! Lastly, Maya has always gone hard in her raps but for me this is the hardest Maya has gone so far!!
