Hinata’s parents are so wonderful. I mean, in an Asian family. Education and what the parents wants usually wins. But I love her parents for considering her dreams. That’s very rare. And Hinata has grown so much, she’s such a sweet girl and a bad ass on stage. I remember her on their tippy toe era. She lost a lot of weight there. But I’m glad she gained back her old physique. She truly evolved and showed everyone she’s the pillar of XG. I also remembered Simon had to fight for her to be in the group. The other producers asked Simon “her?”… I’m glad she’s here here with us

Most of the members have experienced body changes since their debut. A lot of it was their intense training, a lot of it was due to their ages. Like you, I am glad that their experiences haven't resulted in damaging weight control or mental health issues that have hit so many girl groups. They all look healthy and I love seeing them eat and having fun, enjoying life. This year, I often think that the girls are being pushed hard! 'Baby, if I give it my all, will it pay off? Working overtime, no days off'. And then I remember thinking during their debut year, that we were not getting enough content from the group. How things changed! With Simon being who he is, their health and well being seems to be tantamount in his mind. The way he is always there when they do have their 'days off' , their exuberance and ability to enjoy life is so infectious to watch. Hinata turning into a swan is mind blowing.

No matter the dance, Harvey absolutely demands your attention. She just kills her member shine moments in Good Thing. Her body posture, and movements has a quality that is so natural. I was so happy to see these early dance routines. THe only thing I hated about this episode is the foreboding, the realization that members will be cut. Will it be eight, and how did they get down to the magnificent seven? Best series about the industry ever.

Happy New Year!!! We all know how dedicated these girls are, but knowing that the parents are fully committed and very much involved in their development is so endearing.
