@@brosiaaa I cannot wait!!! I do go to a professional to get the sugar Brazilian wax, but it’s getting to the point now where I need to start doing something with these chin hairs. I pluck them but I don’t see every last one of them all the time. I can’t get caught slipping with chin hairs everywhere 😂.

Love your nose ring. I'm definitely trying this because other alternatives really irritate sensitive skin.

I am trying to sugar wax properly. My biggest problem is sugar waxing my facial hair. It is not that big but it hurts and I got acne and swelling a minute after I have just pulled the wax no matter if it is on my chin, neck or somewhere else. Where do I go wrong?
@missluce213 жыл бұрын
TFS Ambrosia. However, please don’t use an exfoliating acid (AHAs & BHAs) right before waxing or shaving. Acids are chemical exfoliant & they dissolve the top layer of your skin; while waxing/shaving manually removes it. That’s a lot in one sitting! That could be destroying your skin barrier & make things (acne, hyperpigmentation, etc.) worse long term because our skin overreacts when it’s inflamed or irritated. I would wait at least a couple of days in between the two processes. 🖤

Thanks so very much for that knowledge! Much appreciated

So did you make this yourself? Which wax strips are you using? This is something I’m definitely interested in. Regular Waxing is painful & irritates my skin.
@TamikaMichelle3 жыл бұрын
You can make this yourself. Most people do. The magic you don't need wax strips. Very similar to hard wax in that way. There are a ton of youtube tutorials on how to make it. Good luck! 👍🏽

Yes it’s simple. 1 cup sugar 1/8 cup of lemon juice 1/8 cup distilled water (or tap) and cook on medium high heat. The tricky part is cooking to the correct temp. I’ll share a video on it

I have tried sugaring. But I always hesitate when removing the sugar and create a mess. I’m not certain if it’s the way I cook the sugar.

My hair grows crazy fast no more than 2 ½ weeks! Some people claim they go 4-6 weeks in between. Maybe the years go by I must say though, the hair isn’t as thick

@@brosiaaa thank you ! I wanted to sugar wax my chin but I want to last for atleast 3 weeks lol. And I’m hoping that waxing will help it thin out.

Does sugar waxing aid in reducing dark spots?
@Toytatu Жыл бұрын
It would prob help, bc it removes dead skin cells from the skin therefore revealing smoother newer skin. I would still use a dark spot lightener after sugar waxing though
@ForeverThatQueen Жыл бұрын
I thought u apply it in the same direction of the hair growth?
@brosiaaa Жыл бұрын
You would with warm wax but with sugaring, it's the exact opposite. The cooled sugar paste is applied against the direction of hair growth and removed in the direction of hair growth with quick, small yanks 🙂
