In this edition of Tarikh, Nikhil talks about the Chinese Terracotta Army, discovered in 1974 by a group of farmers who were digging a well in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, China. They stumbled upon one of the most remarkable archaeological finds in history: a collection of thousands of life-sized terracotta figures, horses, and chariots.
The Terracotta Army was created during the reign of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, who unified China and established the Qin dynasty. The army was designed to accompany him to the afterlife and to protect him from enemies. The Terracotta Army is an important reflection of Chinese military tactics and weaponry during the Qin dynasty.

He made small wall before “Great Wall” in Xi’an China The person who find the the underground army is still alive (at least till 2019 when I meet him) and signing the books there.. Xi’an was his first capital He died near Teracota local saying is - there was mountains of Jade and water from those mountains makes is curable for every illness so the first king decided to live there before he died….
