Auntie Ah Choon is a self taught chef who for about 20+ years ran a successful Economy Rice Restaurant, Restoran Jia Ling in Skudai, Johor. With no real formal training in the culinary arts, everything she knows about cooking comes from a life time of pure experience, observation and self improvement. Too bad he didn't put the written recipe of us to copy. 350 gm minced pork, 30 gm dried mushrooms, 4 pieces of watercress nuts. Marinate the pork with 1 Tabsp oyster sauce, tapioca starch. 1 teasp each -- soya sauce, oil, sesame oil. 1/2 teasp each -- MSG, pepper, 2 Tabsp soaked mushrooms water all beat well . Add in some chopped garlic and carrot. Smooth them on a plate and sprinkle some chopped carrot and garlic and steam 12 mins. Or until cooked.

Can use cornflour instead of tapioca flour?

Auntie says can, but the texture will be different. If u don't use tapioca flour, she recommends using potato flour instead, hope that helps!
