I wonder if they will add to the variant solo plays, ships and their buffs. It is such an extensive and open game which is rare for pursuing objectives etc. campaigns might be a good variant to this game. A races add might be interesting too, like twighlight Imperium. Not that I have that beast. I do love those space ships!

They do have a solo campaign!! Each time you play you have to complete certain objectives!!

Two questions: 1) Is the base game fun? 2) Can you play the base game in solo mode, or does that require the expansion? (I just have a hard time getting a game that requires an expansion to play solo, like Orleans Invasion)

1. Never played just the base game, but I am assuming so if I like it with the expansion. 2. Technically there is no solo mode in the base game, but I think there are plenty of variants (or even this one) for solo. Due note without the expansion, the exploration tokens will make a solo game much easier. Hope that helps!

Good playthrough. One suggestion though: I dont think you mention in the setup or the first video how you actually win the game. If I missed it, I apologize but it might be a good idea to include that at the beginning so that your actions have a little more context. Just a suggestion!

I'm so surprised you haven't tried Mage Knight or A Feast for Odin... just say'in... one is a bit harder than the tother. Or should one say one is more of a brain burner than the tother.

I know I know tell me about it Steve! Here is the thing, I am hopefully learning Mage Knight in 2 weeks from someone much more knowledgeable than me, and I have played Feast for Odin 4 times now! That game is AMAZING, but I need to get better at it before doing a playthrough. I am not the best euro player in the world and that game can be punishing if you are not smart! Ha! So excited for both though! This game however is 100% different from that, and that is fine by me!
