Hey there bud, just found your video while looking at different cinematic type drones and subbed to ya. I fly and build FPV freestyle quadcopters and have my eye on the upcoming Mavic Mini, for the size and weight, but this Fimi X8 seems just too good to pass up for the same price (even cheaper now with the 11.11 sales), and nearly every youtuber review is positive. I had just a few questions, How loud is it and do you ever get any grief for flying it from anyone? I know about the flight maps, the rules and no fly areas and such but generally speaking how hard is it for you to find some good places to fly/film? I noted you are in Richmond in this video and part of my reluctance to buy anything much larger and heavier than my quadcopters is because I live in Hampton Roads lol....basically one huge no fly zone (but from speaking with a few people with their Parts 107 which I'm working on, there's still quite a few decent spots and even more if I travel a little bit away from here) That's really the only real reason I'm considering the Mavic Mini...might just end up getting both hahaha. Edit: I went ahead and purchased the X8 lol...but I'm still curious about the questions I asked. Thanks again for the video :)

Congratulation on pulling the trigger on the Fimi X*. The drone is a beast and a real pleasure to fly. I like chasing moving objects and the Spark is just to slow and I imagine the Mini will be the same. But I did purchase the Mini the DJI camera compression algorithms are phenomenal . Okay, I own the DJI Spark, Mavic 2 Pro, Hubsan Zino, Hubsan 501ss. The Fimi X8 is louder than the spark and about as loud as the M2P.... The great thing about the Fimi it does not have the no fly zone database. Easy in and Easy out... The part 107 is gem to have because you can apply for variance via app and get approved quickly via text. Thank you soooo much for the SUB!👍😎👍

Thanks for the video, but I think that the manual camera settings are not working. I'm talking about shutter speed and iso. Only EV compensation works.

I agree something is strange about the settings. The funny thing is that at 2:33 mark you see the ISO setting is 100. At the 6:25 mark everything is Auto. At the 8:46 Minute mark ISO is 400. I will continue to documents my setting an we can all dial them in to what best works best! Thank for your insight. 👍👍😜
