I always wonder if there are biased reviews on this drone. I have no experience with previous drones, but after watching your videos and others like it, I finally bought an X8 se ! I must say, I'm so impressed with it. It's really a great drone. Thanks for your contribution and efforts.

Chris. Looking to pull the trigger today on a drone. My two choices are the fimi and the up air 2 3D 4K. My channel is about motorcycles. I’d like to use the tracking. Looks like the upair follows the cell phone. Looks like the fimi is having troubles with tracking. Are they working to make this better? I like the portability of the fimi. Any thoughts?? How's the reception in urban environments? I don't fly out in the middle of nowhere, I cover events and do real estate photography with my drones, so these tests out in the cuds aren't representative of my working environment. If you could let me know about your experience in densely populated areas, I'd really appreciate it.

Marcos Codas I get 1000 to 1500 meters of good flights in heavy wifi traffic areas. I have never had a single issue with this quad. Use caution obviously with any quad in heavy wifi traffic and around people but like most decent quads it’s as good as the pilot 👍

Randy Quimpo Anafi is best in my opinion but both have very good cameras. You can’t go wrong with either quad. I don’t have any affiliation with parrot but do for the X8 if you choose that. I would appreciate the sale. Thanks

Have you compared the x8 with the anafi? I am a parrot fan having owned a bebop 2 which is really a very underrated drone in my opinion. My issue with the anafi is it just looks flimsy. I have not handled one in person. The x8 looks a little stockier and better built but not having flown either I am unsure which one to go with. Just as an aside I lost my bebop2 due to a GPS signal loss when I was flying over water, it was blown way offshore by the wind after losing GPS and that was all she wrote. First time and unfortunately last time ( obviously ) it happened.

Both are great drones and yes the Anafi is a bit flimsy but I recommend that overall between the two all day long. The Thermal got the improved body so maybe future Anafi's will have this. Much stronger!

IOS and parabolics might be the answer :) I run Android an no parabolics and get (randomly) the sd card error, Gale force wind warning and motor overload warning and dont get 3km. and get random black outs on range turn arounds. Looks like you have good one. Obviously there are more good ones out there than not... Just like the Zino. You are definitely one of the lucky ones :)

@@QCGUY : I see you has the parabolics on. I have tried them and they do work a little. My assessment is that those running IOS have a slight better performance rating than those on Android. Maybe its just the Chinese narration that gets me in Android :)

Sth strange i noticed, in your second flight you were getting a low speed message for the SD card (bottom right of the FPV display, in yellow font), although apparently this did not affect the recording, i believe that you did not change the card between the flights, right? So how is this possible...

I think a lot of the problems people have is thinking they're experts, they mess around with the settings and then anything that goes wrong it's the drones fault

Love your videos!! In your earlier Fimi review you mentioned Zino's camera to be better despite Fimi being a higher specced one. Is Zino's still better, anything has changed in Fimi's video/image quality? One last thing....Zino Pro Or Fimi X8 which one should I buy? Considering I want my $400 to last a long time. Thank you💕

Thanks i thinking bay one SanDisk A2 U3 v30 Extreme Pro or ADATA U3 V90 second SD cost double and i think its not necesary bay SD for 8K i know faster its beter but if x8 unsport UHS-II only UHS-I dont need fastes memory i must ask Fimi if this ADATA V90 can work fastes from SunDisk A2V30 i bay V90... tank you .... hihi respect fot this fly long witch low battery this is crazy be cose if battery its under 11V dont have more power for stability in extremle angle brake or fast turns ... and must fly gently and hope no strong wind in land place ..... but its only machine its every time posible to repair something broke :) sorry for my broken english but i newer study ( learn) this languidge and i try scribe from head i don use translators.

Is it normal that if you top off your batteries and let them sit for week and get ready to fly that the batteries aren’t at 100% - cuz I’ve seen on mines they are at 80%s - is that normal - aren’t they supposed to hold a full charge ?

I never let mine sit charged up that long but a good battery will discharge in storage yes.

If it's a smart battery it should start to automatically discharge after 7 days if it is a smart battery. It will discharge until it reaches it's long term battery storage level (50%?). This is for the protection and longevity of the battery. P

​@@civic2323 With some smart batteries once they reach storage discharge level they will go into a type of hibernation mode such that when you hit the button to check the battery level you won't see any of the typical battery lights. You kind of have to put them on the charger to wake them up again....at least that is the case with the Parrot Anafi smart batteries. Cheers.

QC GUY i did but last checked the code only works from the warehouse I thought? Also great review. It seems that the overload/overheat warning pops mostly on android phones and not iOS phones. Might also be an older model/built drone... who knows. Thanks again for the reviews. I’m sold on the x8 as soon as I get my mileage check! Lol

Probably just trolls. I’ve literally seen canon and Sony fans lie about fuji cameras just bc they are mad fuji is selling so well. One guy was super obvious about it too. They hate the fact a cheaper crop sensor can take just as good or better photos than their full frame. Wouldn’t surprise me if some dji fan boys were doing the same here. I have no idea if it has a setting but I would imaging in setup it has a language selection somewhere. Have you asked Fimi or in a Fimi group?

QC GUY Thanks, If it was in my settings I sure couldn't find it since everything was written in Chinese & I went to everything in there hoping I'd see something I could understand but there wasn't. BUT I asked the same ? on a different KZbin page and they led me to the right download, It. I thought when I first hooked everything up and it downloaded a program or two that that was what I needed but it wasn't. NOW I have the right think installed. I do that flight many times and it's always about the same in sport mode. Conditions will change the flight time but firmware doesn't do this typically.
